Very nice dinner!

They have multiple vegan appetizers and one vegan entrée, clearly labeled as such. Entrée was Gambian peanut stew which included tofu, chickpeas, and veggies over ginger quinoa. Really enjoyed it! Meals are $23 and up. Also serves wine and beer, and had a vegan dessert option of sorbet.

Good option

Be sure to book out in advance for reservations!! Ate here for dinner and the vegan options were limited (1 entree and 2 apps a salad) we ordered everything they had and made a meal for 2 sharing it, food was delicious but I wish they would add more options!

Make a reservation days ahead

Eating vegan in lake placid is ROUGH. We found this place that offered options that sounded great and tried to eat here multiple days on end. We tried making reservations every night of our stay and they were always full. Plan VERY ahead here.

Pros: Thoughtful vegan options

Cons: Too booked

No Soup for You!

Not really, there is definitely yummy vegan soup here! The Mulligatawny Soup is vegan, hearty and awesome - eat your heart out Kramer! The menu is marked with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options very plainly and the staff is sensitive and knowledgeable. The chef is the owner and there are often vegan specials so ask! We have also had the Vegetable Tempeh Udon Noodles (vegan) and the Solstice Salad (vegan), both of which are excellent.

They have added a few more vegan options since last we visited and we cannot wait to try them out!

Finally, they have excellent mock-tails for those who are alcohol free.

Pros: Variety of vegan options, Delicious and filling vegan options, Vegan options are a good value for the money

Cons: No vegan desserts

Fantastic food & cozy place

Several great vegan (and gluten free) options. The lentil soup (Mulligatawny soup) is amazing! The Winter Goddess salad can be made vegan and is really good too. The Cauliflower and Tofu Korma is nice too. The Seitan Udon Noodles had it all - thick noodles, eggplant and a little spice. Very nice staff and funny and cute decoration!

Pros: Very well made food, Nutrition rich, Amazing flavors
