Disappointed - food only served for lunch

Food seems nice. Was not able to try it because you can’t eat here after lunchtime. The toast I got was ok, all other stuff too. The staff was partly unfriendly and rude, makes fun of guests when they think they don’t understand Italian. Overall disappointing.

Get there before kitchen closes after lunch!!

We arrived too late (6pm) so kitchen already closed. Still have a great salad and toast plus a nice cheesecake. Staff very nice.

Veganes Restaurant im Herzen von Domodossola

Schöne Stimmung und gemütliche Terasse. Lokal, saisonal & vegan. Was will man mehr?
Die Gerichte sind immer sehr schmackhaft und man kann einen Teller mit allen Tagesgerichten nehmen um sich nicht entscheiden zu müssen.

Che piacevole sorpresa!

Non mi sarei mai aspettato di trovare un ristorante vegano a Domodossola! Mi è piaciuto molto in tutto: cucina, location e personale

Piatto del giorno gustoso, vario e salutare.
Buoni anche i dolci! Tra le proposte anche insalate e toast, tutto vegetale, molte alternative di caffetteria e bevande. Da tornare per provare l’aperitivo!

Nice surprise

Nice position in the centre of the city, great variety of dishes and desserts, great for breakfast too!

Pros: All vegan options! , Good desserts, Great variety

Cons: Would have preferred more generous portions

Pretty basic

Came at the time the kitchen was closed.
At the time the only options were toasts and focaccia and all kinds of beverages
Toast and focaccia were average, a bit dry. Nothing special or mind-blowing 🙈
Expected a bit more 🥲

Amazing cafe

Such nice staff, healthy varied food. I suspect they make their own tempeh. On a quiet beautiful square. Highly recommend this place. Great value too.

Aperitivo e cena gustosi e vegan

Prezzo contenuto, 4 piatti corposi tra cui scegliere (9€) oppure un misto di tutto (12€). Ho preso il tempeh ed il piatto era abbondante e con contorno molto curato.
Cheaper than usual, 4 main courses to choose (9€), with even a “a little bit of everything” choice for 12€. I had a tempeh with veggies and was top notch for quantity and quality.

Pros: Only vegan, Craft beer 😍, Nice people

Super trouvaille

Nous nous sommes arrêtés exprès sur la route des vacances et ça en valait le coup.
Le staff a été top et a vraiment pris le temps de nous expliquer le menu. Nous avons pris une grande assiette pour deux et une part de cheese-cake à emporter.

Gem in the Old Town of Domodossola

Sali and Pistacchi really stands out in the region. During the day you can sip the perfect Cappuccino on the piazza and watch tourists walk by. We were there during the day on a Saturday and enjoyed delicious cake. It was quite busy with both locals and tourists. However, it would be great to have a lunch menu on Saturday during the day. Also, if you don't speak Italian you'll need a translation app (which is fine though)

Pros: Location, Coffee, Cake

Cons: Kitchen opens at 18.00 on weekends

Really good restaurant/bar

Lunch was from a set menu of four options (and a fifth option of trying a bit of each) and convered a wide range of food types (pasta, soup etc.) A very good selection of beers and wines. Staff very friendly.

Vegane Kuchen vom feinsten 👍

Auf der Durchreise hatte ich kurz Zeit für einen Espresso und eine Croissant. Dabei entdeckte ich die Auswahl an verschiedenen Kuchen. Ich liess mir vier Stück davon einpacken. Zu Hause wurden diese dann genüsslich verzehrt.
Ich war auch überrascht von dem grossen Angebot. Von Frühstück und Menues und Desserts ist für jeden was dabei.
Leider hatte ich keine Zeit um alles zu probieren. Die Kuchen waren aber spitze.

really nice find

I didn't expect to find a vegetarian or even vegan place here, since people always reacted bewildered in this area when I asked for vegan dishes. But when I arrived today after a long hike I thought I try this nice looking place in the main square of this small town. I was amazed when I found out they only serve vegan meals and cakes!

I was here in the afternoon for cafe and a cake and again for dinner. The staff was always nice and I can recommend this restaurant!

They have a menu of the day with about 4 dishes and a platto unico where you get a little something of every dish wish was really nice.

Pros: nice menu, really nice interior and decorations, nice atmosphere

Cons: I wished the had some gelatto too ☺

On the piazza in Domodossola old town

I had a quick dinner between trains going back to Switzerland after a hiking weekend in the area's mountains.
Nice to sit out on the square while eating, enjoying life coming n going.

Pros: Menu of the day, dessert, good fairtrade tea

Great all around

It's wonderful to have a veg place here at all, and all the more delightful that it's such a good one. The offerings include both an a la carte menu and a set meal with soup, salad, and two other items. Everything we had (five items in all) was great (including the vegan dessert). Service is good and English is spoken.

Recommended. Enjoy!

Great location, almost entirely vegan

Nice café with outdoor seating on the picturesque market square. Daily specials are marked on the blackboard. The main menu has mostly snacks and sweets and a variety of drinks. As far as I could see, almost all items were vegan. Nice atmosphere , and they try to use a lot of products from local or regional produce. Perfect for lunch. Open on Sunday, which is a plus. Can only recommend it!
