Too expensive; food not that good - Edit
First of all , I would like to know why somebody submitted this restaurant to Happy Cow, considering that it's not a vegetarian restaurant, and we are in a city filled with vegan and vegetarian places. Second of all, the food is very expensive compared to most other places in town and the food isn't that good. I went to lunch on a Saturday afternoon and two foreign couples were there eating. I doubt that this place sees many Sri Lankans because of the high prices. I ordered the raw papaya salad and the pad see ew. The papaya salad actually wasn't that bad. The pad see ew was nothing like Thai food... It came with vermicelli instead of the wide noodles that this dish is known for. Also it was about 80% pasta with very little veggies and mock meat. The flavor was all wrong, and I respectfully disagree with a previous reviewer who called this place authentic. The service is exceptional, however. They add a 10% service charge to the bill. In my humble opinion, not worth the trip from the center of Kandy.

They know what vegan is and can point out various items on the menu which can be ordered vegan.

Combo menu was so-so, I wish I ordered the green curry; green beans and carrot were a bit bland, just steamed veggies. Portion was tiny in my opinion (see picture), salad was awesome, curry was good too. But better order a salad and curry separately
Pros: clean place, nice atmosphere , service is very quick, good food
Cons: out of the city centre, staff sometimes a bit too chatty , no alcohol licence (ask to bring your own)

Best food in Kandy - Edit
What a find! This newly opened Thai food is not only authentic but has excellent service. They have lot of vegan items on the menu and are willing to accommodate to dietary needs. All the food is made fresh. It derserves a 5 Star but Happy Cow will not let me give it, as it lets you give it only to fully vegan or vegetarian restaurant.
