limited vegan options and wasn’t that flavourful - Edit
was excited to eat here seeing they had a vegan paella option but unfortunately it just wasn’t that flavourful at all and the menu was really limited in options. was a lovely location right on the sea front, but think for this reason it was also super overpriced.

Limited vegan options - Edit
Unfortunately this place is very overpriced and the food is mediocre. There are extremely limited vegan options, which are a hummus, salad and guacamole. There is also a vegan paella but this is €21 per person and has a 2 person minimum so I did not try this dish. The cocktails were also not great. The view is nice and the service is good but I would not recommend this for vegans.

Very surprised at how much we enjoyed dining at Sal Mar.
Read moreBeing right on the beach, you would think they'd be completely overpriced with terrible quality food, when in fact they were only decently pricier and had an array of good food options including vegan items.
I ordered their Chargrilled Vegan Chicken and Veggie Skewers (€17,90) and it was a surprising hearty meal by the beach. They use a soy/seitan style chicken protein combined with a few grilled veggies over rice. I'm happy the option exists and that it wasn't simply a salad only that was offered.
Our server was friendly and offered champagne or cider at the end our meal. We were also able to stay for as long as we wanted so it was nice to relax by the beach with a bit of shade from the sun.
Also, can't forget to use their individual bathroom stalls which were clean and clearly the best here at the beach.
