No vegan food

Went expecting at least a few choices but we advised by a very rude waiter that they did not serve vegan food

Cons: No vegan options, Rude waiters

Good yet affordable food

The decor isn't so great, but the food is cheap and if you're there to eat, this place is good. I'd recommend going for the buffet

Pros: Plenty of tofu options in the buffet, Buffet has plenty of options

Cons: Food can be a bit stodgy

The original Sakonis - buffet town!

Another great experience at Sakonis. Classic Indian food. All day buffet is a great option and lots to choose from. And lots to choose from the main menu. Pictures to help pick. The interior is quite basic and service is quite simple but food is fast and really good. Had the chili paneer bombay sandwich and aloo papdi chaat.

Pros: good value for money, great food that fills you, picture guide

Cons: basic interior, simple service

excellent buffet

Love the lunch buffet which has almost everything .. all types of chaats - pani puri, sev puri, bhel etc. Soups are nice, they also have pizza, dhokla, North Indian roti sabzi and Chinese dishes like chilli panneer etc.
A must visit when I am in london.

Pros: awesome food, friendly staff

Cons: opens at 12 noon !

Good Indian restaurant

Pretty good Indian restaurant with lots of choices. Not expensive but this is reflected in the quality of food. Some of the desserts seem pre-made and just warmed up in the microwave.

Pros: Good food choices, Faluda milkshake

Cons: Not the highest quality of food

Good Value, but needs a couple of tweaks

I'm writing this after I submitted a review about Sakonis in Wembley.

The buffet range is much better here than Wembley, parking is also easier.

However the menu still suffers from over salted food and greasy food. Apart from these complaints the food is reasonably priced and very tasty.

I have visited Sakonis over a number of years and it has always been a favourite with the kids and the whole of the family.

When it first started in was novel, fresh, highly competitive, the cleanliness of the decor, the fast service.
They have lost their way a little, however new diners will still appreciate this non pretentious restaurant.

Service is better than Wembley.

Pros: parking, excellent food, pricing

Cons: salty, greasy

Always a winner

One of my favourite restaurants, anywhere. Lovely fresh, hot, delicious North Indian snack food, and plenty more substantial mains. Most people go to Sakonis for the buffet but you can also order from the menu. The buffet is your best bet because it's so varied. Very good quality Indian food. I go there regularly for a treat.

Inexpensive, family friendly, simple canteen-style interior. Suitable for vegans as there are plenty of non-dairy options.

Good food

Went here Feb 2012. Had the buffet on a Sunday. About 10 pounds per head. Multiple array of starters/mains/desserts. Quintessentially North Indian cuisine, couldn't help refilling at buffet and trying all sorts of yummy dishes. Delicious. Will definitely go back!

Pros: Totally veg, Great flavours

Cons: in Harrow
