Mindful of vegans - Edit
I don't think many places on the harbour arm cater well for vegans, but this place does and the prices are reasonable. I tried the vegan burger with fries and slaw and shared some banana pancakes. Burger quite good, pancakes great..will try their vegan breakfast soon.

Cons: I prefer Asian style slaw

Lovely pancakes - Edit
Decent little café with fabulous view of the sea. Decent range of typical vegan dishes such as avo on toast and pancakes. The coffee is okay but not fantastic. Overall worth a visit

Quite basic vegan options - Edit
Fantastic location so it's worth a visit if you want to sit and look at the sea, but the menu is quite limited for vegans compared to what else is available in the area. There's a vegan breakfast but it's only available until 12 so I've not had it as I'm usually looking for lunch spots.
Read moreThere are a few customisable options from the lunch menu and I've had the hash a couple of times. It was nice but you pay the same price as the vegetarian one with poached egg, and it's the same with the avocado on toast that also comes with egg as standard. They offered to replace the egg with something else and I asked for vegan sausage instead but was told they won't do that, so I asked for tomatoes but it came out with mushrooms instead (which I'm not keen on unfortunately!) One of the reasons I generally avoid places where you have to customise the menu is because it makes ordering so awkward and there's a risk of getting it wrong. The second time I tried I did get the tomatoes I asked for, it was fine but not that interesting compared to my friend's egg version.
I much prefer their sister venue The Harbour Coffee Co next door which has fantastic cakes and pastries with very good coffee. I'm hoping Sailbox might introduce more options, it's a shame they have beans and vegan sausage as part of a breakfast but they're not available with the lunch items.
There are also some vegan pancakes available, I'll try them next time.
