Beautiful presented food but had to book vegan cream tea in advance…some really peak selections (sandwiches, seabuck pate de fruit), scones were a little too hard for my taste and not served warm, and fancy tea a little tasteless…worth it once for the experience but probably wouldn’t go back as pretty pricey. Vegetarians commented their scones also a wee bit dry.

Incredible vegan afternoon tea - Edit
This restaurant is now called Harbour Loft and has the most amazing vegan afternoon tea with delicious, inventive and locally sourced components. This includes tea that's actually grown in Cornwall! A booking here also includes admission to the harbour, village and shops, which you'd normally have to pay for in the summer months. All in all, the £32.50 per person is quite reasonable. Definitely worth not only a visit of you're already on the island, I'd say it's actually worth a trip specifically for this place.

Extremely disappointing , I wanted refreshments whilst my family visited the castle , but nothing they sold was vegan friendly. When I asked they said they don’t have a chef!
