This is a family hot spot, I've been going here for over 20 years. It's mandatory when I travel to visit family. My mom and I searched everywhere in Boise, ID for something similar and there's nothing like it. I LOVE the mixed veggies in garlic sauce with tofu. FAVORITE restaurant hands down
My wife and I were traveling and found this place here on Happy Cow. We stopped in for lunch. The service was a little on the slow and inattentive side but the food was very good. I had the vegetable crispy lo mein and my wife had the fragrant tofu. We were both highly satisfied.
Menu has a a page for vegetables. we asked a very helpful waitress which meals would be vegan and she steered us in the right direction. The two dishes we had were both excellent. We immediately wanted to go back!
Very friendly restaurant. A woman (the owner?) waited on us and was extremely knowledgeable about the vegan options on the menu. For the record, nearly all the 'vegetable' dishes on the Chinese side of the menu are vegan. And, there are several vegan Vietnamese options as well.
After a long drive to Rapid City, it was nice to have a worry-free meal once we arrived.
FYI--We went on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was quite full.
