The oil used for frying falafel is not used for frying meat. The falafel comes with a dairy-based sauce, and vegans can ask for a non-dairy sauce. Open Mon-Sat 10:30am-9:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-7:00pm.

The menu features a Veggie Sampler containing:
Falafel (2), Hommous, Tabouli, Fattoush, Baba Ghanouj, pickle mix, Dolmas (2) and fresh pita bread. The online menu lists the price as $7.99; in-store it is actually $9.99. Aside from that minor oversight, I couldn't be happier. The owner, Omar, was welcoming to all of his patrons. Every item of the sampler was delicious and the plate was huge! Be sure to treat yourself to the baklava. Mmm, so good! I am only visiting Albuquerque, but will add Sahara to my "go to" list for any return trips.
