Not a good experience - Edit

I went to this place after reading the reviews and was very disappointed with the food. I was in the area and wanted to try something different. The food that came was as though it wasn't prepared fresh and had been kept aside for a day. However, I might be at the place at the wrong time. Will try it again but only for dosa as I heard that is always made fresh.

Cons: Not fresh

Standard fare - Edit

In the busy foyer of a hotel, Citin offers standard Indian fare at inflated prices. Nothing was awful, but nothing was great. Pretty uninspired stuff.

Cons: Expensive, Located in busy foyer, Slow service

Very good - Edit

Bottom floor of a hotel, very quiet atmosphere. We were the only ones dining when we went on a Thursday evening.
Had the fake lamb (about 180 Baht) which was very good. Also enjoyed a couple appetizers which were delicious as well.
Would return again to enjoy the food, but a little pricey compared to other places so saving it for an occasional dining choice.

Pros: Good food, Friendly staff, Clean dining area

Cons: A bit pricey

nice haven in busy pratunam - Edit

Have eaten here a couple of times, if you're in the surrounding area it's well worth a visit. It's very clean, has very friendly service with an original menu with a lot of interesting veggie meat/soy options (traditional Thai, western and Indian dishes). Considering the restaurant is part of a hotel, it's also inexpensive. Have tried the tandoori chicken, seitan satay and massaman curry which were all tasty and really nicely presented. One drawback is that the atmosphere is a little sterile, as the restaurant never seems to be busy. Also it's a little out of the way - and in a very busy area - which doesn't make it easy to find.

Pros: Friendly service, Interesting menu, Very clean

Cons: a little lacking in atmosphere, not easy to get to

Delicious Haven - Edit

The restaurant is very clean and quiet and is an excellant escape haven from the non stop action and energy of Bangkok. The food is fabulous and the service was really good. The chef even altered (at hubbies request) traditional Indian vegetarian curries into Vegan alternatives using coconut milk instead of cream, this was so delicious and the BEST vegan curries and naan breads I have ever had! Two thumbs up!!!

Pros: Clean, Quiet, Flexible Vegan Options

Mediocre... - Edit

I checked out the menu for this place online before going, and it looked amazing. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was kind of disappointed. The food and service were ok, but nothing memorable that would make me want to go back. I got the bbq seitan chicken sandwich which was decent, but nothing special. The bbq sauce was basically ketchup, and the fries were eh. Also, the food took quite a while considering we were the only people there. For being in a hotel though the food is reasonably-priced (60-130 baht per dish), and they have a lot of different protein options as well as a variety of styles of food (american, indian, thai). Might give this place one more try before i write it off altogether.

Pros: extensive menu, clean

Cons: hard to find, small portions, mediocre food
