Immer wieder nice - Edit
Wir stoppen inzwischen eigentlich immer auf dem Weg an die Nordsee (oder wieder nach Hause) in Oldenburg, um hier zu essen. Super lecker, große Portionen, ungewöhnliche Gewürze etc.

Unusual Persian Pizza - Edit
At Safran, you can get pizza without cheese and instead with coleslaw on top (if you want). The pizza is seasoned with safran (and probably other unusual spices). You can choose in between various toppings like pesto, garlic oil, hummus and so forth.
Read moreSafran also has other vegan options like rollos and pasta that I haven't had the chance to try so far. They also display art and offer cooking courses.
Apart from their quite small interior space, they are a very homely place to come across. :)

Keine Ahnung, seit wie vielen Jahrzehnten ich mir wirklich gerne die Pizza gönne. Früher nachts auf dem Weg nach Hause, heute auch gerne tagsüber.

Kleines Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter Küche - Edit
Sehr leckere Speisen, denen man anmerkt mit wie viel Leidenschaft sie zubereitet wurden. Gerade das Safranbrot kann man nur empfehlen.

We really enjoyed our food here. We had the stuffed eggplant and the stuffed zucchini. Very delicious, many vegetables (I love it). The staff was very kind and for what you get the price is very nice. Only little little con: there are just a few places to sit and the tables are very small. 🙈
