The place is located in a super nice location, by the beach.

We tried the mushrooms as a starter and also the banana ceviche which were super good!
Food looks very fresh and is tasty.
The only negative point is that the place is a bit expensive... But I recommande it anyway though 😊

The owners Francisco and his wife were very helpful and genuine. His children eat vegan so this inspired them to create a menu that keeps everyone happy. They even had a vegan buffet day that got disrupted because of covid but hopefully they bring that back sometime soon.

Generous amount of vegan options, I think. I'd recommend the Banana Ceviche - fun dish, quite tasty!

Food was lovely, but I don’t feel like you get enough for how expensive it was, me and my partner were not full enough for 45€. We had olives (1€ for about 8), one cocktail each, a bottle of water (which on the menu said 1L, but actually was 750ml) I had the seitan with rice and my partner had the chicken curry (which was mostly sauce with chicken thighs that still had the bones in, he actually hardly got any chicken!). Portions are very small for the price you pay.

The food is alright - my seitan was a bit sweet for a main course and the side salad could use some seasoning, but other than that it was pretty good. There is a good selection of vegan options and even the special Sunday meal can be veganised. Not sure if worth the price.

Nice restaurant with a vegan menu - Edit
We had a nice dinner at safari. The daughter of the owner shared their story with us and is the driver to offer more vegan options on their menu. During covid they extended their offer and have over 5 dishes to chose from. The food was nice and a great change to the non vegan friendly cuisine in Algarve. Also tasty Caipirinhas and lovely service😄

Localizado no meio da Praia Da Rocha este discreto restaurante está muito bem localizado, com uma esplanada voltada para a praia. Acolhedor e confortável. O serviço é muito simpático e eficiente. Tem 4 opções vegan bem sinalizadas. Fomos jantar, pedimos tofu braseado acompanhado de batatas fritas e salada (estava bom!) e hambúrguer de quinoa acompanhado de batatas fritas e salada (bastante bom!). Para sobremesa pedimos uma tarte de amêndoa vegan (deliciosa!)

Read moreThe interior is unique and distinctive (definitely in comparison to the neighbouring establishments). The design has a Safari (!)/African feel.
The hospitality and service was first class from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. They were attentive (without being over bearing) and helpful (helping explain the menu items & their speciality drinks).
The food was exquisite. Well presented and delicious!
I would definitely recommend here if you’re in the area.
We’re looking forward to returning on Saturday as they’re hosting a vegan buffet.

Had the braised tofu, which seems to be the best vegan dish on the menu. Definitely a very “meat imitating” place with dishes like seitan steak. If you’re into that, have a go.

We were disappointed with our meal here. We were so impressed they offered seitan but unfortunately the experience wasn’t the best. When we arrived we were told that the outside terrace was booked up and we’d have to sit inside, which we didn’t mind however there were lots free seats outside for the duration of our meal. We wondered if they judged us when we arrived and decided to keep seats free in case their regulars showed up? This was disappointing as there was no atmosphere inside as we were nearly the only ones in the place! The food was nice but the quinoa burger came with no bun, so we don’t know why it was called a burger on the menu. The seitan and strawberry rice was nice but only came with salad and was small so I was hungry when we left. It was one of the most expensive restaurants we visited but the meal we enjoyed the least.
