Great African falafel - Edit
I love falafel, so the African (usually Sudanese I think) falafel shops that are fairly common in Berlin make a nice change as it comes with peanut sauce and plantain.
Read moreSafai Imbiss is a tiny but very popular place. Everything's vegan except for halloumi and one dish with chicken. You can get food served in a wrap or as a teller (plate) that includes mixed veg or rice.
Seating is limited - there's a couple of bench tables on the street or a couple of standing spaces that are sheltered if it rains.
It's run by 2 people so you may be waiting 5 minutes to get your food once your order but it's worth the wait.

Discovered Safari Imbiss by change, definitely the most different and best food I've had in Berlin. Tried several dishes, the safari teller special, jollof rice, halloumi wrap and shakalaka warp. Each of them delicious, the dishes aren't very spicy but you can ask for hot sauce! The guys running Safari Imbiss are very kind and already recognized us after two visits.

Read moresomething like African - Mediterranean fusion. Many vegan/ vegetarian options and they are very filling for the price. Delicious peanut sauce! Food is slightly oily however. The only seating is outside- where it is shaded by the building but can be hot.

The place is literally a hole in the wall.

The food is really very good. It is something completely different than the usual falafel.
The thing I like the most is the dude working there.
He is so friendly and very generous.
Even our dog got something!
