Lovely fancier restaurant - Edit
Loved my experience here. Wish I had time to go back again. I tried the avocado dish and the raviolis. Both were delicious. Coffee and juice were also amazing. Perfect for a nicer meal.

Fantastic experience at Michelin rated restaurant - Edit
The food, ambiance, and service at this chic, vegan Michelin-rated restaurant (one of the two vegan Michelin restaurants in Buenos Aires) are all superb. The dishes are creative with subtle flavors. This place is pricey by Buenos Aires standards, to be sure, but not that expensive compared to what you would find in other cities (and many of the cheaper Buenos Aires vegan restaurants are not nearly as good).
Read moreI splurged by having a quinoa tempeh dish (with plum, hummus, salad, and rice), a cheese plate, and an avocado lime dessert (either the tempeh dish or cheese plate would more than have sufficed for a meal, but I wanted to try both).

Fantastic once, average next - Edit
First time we went the food was amazing I couldn’t wait to return. When we returned a couple of months later the dishes were unfortunately well below the quality of what we had the first time. It was very disappointing however the staff were very apologetic and offered us a free dessert

Absolutely top - Edit
I had never thought of eating in an excellent vegan restaurant in the homeland of meat, yet SACRED an excellent selection of dishes, to the point that I ate too much because I was too attracted by the menu. The wine selection is also excellent, with natural wines. The atmosphere is very soft and elegant and the service is excellent. An experience not to be missed

Decadent, distinctive, unmissable - Edit
Don’t miss Sarco if you are in Buenos Aires. Everything we tried was exceptionally tasty, especially the dumplings and the jerusalem artichoke millefeuille. The roasted salsifis was a delightful discovery and deserves also special recognition. It’s a unique root vegetable I haven’t encountered before and I really loved it. Their chocolate tart paired with peanut butter ice cream was also very delicious. The ambiance was intimate and service commendable.

Wtf - Edit
Second time here after my first visit to BA in January. This was the first place to revisit and had an mind blowing experience again today. The lady that was attending was extremely knowledgeable, knew all the preparations and her recommendations were on point. It is good to have had this experience as the service in January was a bit slow and inconsistent. The food, just really, really good. Had the charcoal empanada, Brussel sprouts with mole verde, milhojas (“thousand sheets”) with romesco and shiso (“beefsteak plant” 🤣) and the raviolis with sweet potato and mushroom caviar. Wanted to order the cheese platter again after tasting it in January but just too full, so need to come back again. Great options in wines too.

Vegan fine dining - Edit
We ordered the black empanadas, bread, sweet potato ravioli and chocolate tart with peanut butter ice cream. The dessert was by far the best part of the meal. We consider going back just for the peanut butter ice cream. Sadly the rest of the food was somewhat lackluster. The dining area was quite loud during dinner time. Service was good.

Upscale vegan dining oozing with ambience and great food - Edit
Dined here the day before hubby's birthday because they're closed Mondays. We started with the basil smash and fresco de mar while perusing the menu. Both drinks were refreshing and light to prepare us to dive into the menu full of surprises.
Read moreUnder snacks, we ordered the dumplings and bao buns, both beautifully plated and equally delicious. Appropriate for the snack menu, both were small bites to usher us onto heartier fare.
Under light, we ordered the gratin eggplant and cured cheeses. The cheeses arrived first with a selection of three and some accompaniments. We both thought the camembert was the best, followed by the kimchi and finally the blue. The gratin eggplant was FABULOUS! The eggplant was perfectly cooked and paired perfectly with the mushroom and nori flatbread.
The bold dishes, roasted kimchi and sweet potato ravioli followed. The crispy quinoa in the roasted kimchi was completely different from anything I had ever had before and I thoroughly enjoyed it, although it did get all over the table! The ravioli was in a super creamy and decadent sauce. The only negative to the bold dishes were the stoneware in which they arrived. With deep edges that flared inward, it was difficult to get every last bit of each dish out of the serving vessels!
We finished with sweets of chocolate tart and avocado lime pie. The tart was good, but the pie was divine. It was very reminiscent of a key lime pie and the pistachios on the plate helped to cut the tartness.
All in all, a superb meal and I would not hesitate to go back to try other things on the menu. Highly recommended!

The food was imaginative and excellent, BUT the service was incredibly slow. We arrived on time for our reservation, and did not get asked if we wanted a drink for 30 minutes. When the waitress came we ordered our drinks and food and had to wait a further 60 minutes for our main courses to arrive. In my opinion this is not acceptable for a higher end restaurant

Next level delicious fine dining - Edit
Update 12/22: stand by everything in previous review, also recommend eggplant, ravioli, chocolate tart with salted caramel (it’s legit salty delicious and accompanying peanut ice cream is some of the best ice cream anywhere, suuuper creamy and light). Want to note that I strongly disagree with a review mentioning oily, none of our dishes were, however be warned that the dominant flavors are savory/umami, salty, tart/sour — there is very little sweetness in any dish which may throw people off if you’re used to that.

Among the best meals I've ever had anywhere (having been to 40 countries in 10 years of being vegan); much better than anything else in Argentina. Expensive for local standards but still accessible for visitors with the currency devaluation happening now. But the price is SO worth it -- we've still been talking about how amazing the food was days later. It is a fine dining experience; expect great service with small portions and big prices. The only disappointment was the raspberry spritz cocktail which was very simple/ one-noted.
Favorite dishes: empanada, baos (Argentines be warned, there is legit spice in some dishes including this one), avocado key lime pie!!!!! (the creaminess of this dessert was incredible).
Street parking wasn't too hard to find nearby. Reservations recommended but the place was pretty large so you might get a table without one. Despite being upscale, it's not too pretentious to wear casual clothing if that's all you have. Children are welcome, just bring something to entertain them because it's a 2-hour meal. Staff spoke Spanish and basic English.

Dissapointed ,the enviroment is nice - Edit
I was wanting to come to this place long ago, I didn't go because they aren't pet friendly, and I am always with my service dog, I decided to go without my dog and give it a try, the place looks fantastic, the service is also good they are always smiling, and attentive, the food presentation is great but the food flavor wasn't great, the dumplings tasted like soap, and it was too sour, then they brought the falafel plate… hummus was so dry and falafel was salty, the raviolis were good but the mushrooms on it were salty, drinks were good and desert was good, I liked the cheese plate, but some cheeses were super salty, I really was expecting more from this place.
