Delicious Falafels!!

I’m really picky about my falafels, I like them not over-fried and moist. These were just that! They were so delicious, flavorful, I really enjoyed the falafel sandwich. My husband got a falafel plate with rice and grilled veggies, hummus & pita. They have vegan baklava but they were disappointing unfortunately. Will definitely be returning for their falafel😄

Great Mediterranean Food

I just visited Saca's for the first time today and was very impressed. I ordered the Falafel Sandwich Italian Style with a side of french fries and a square baklava. This is a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and can either eat inside or get carry-out. I ordered my food to-go but I did spend some time inside while I waited for my order to be made. The inside of the restaurant is lined with square tables and chairs, and a soda machine selling craft soda only. You will not find name-brands like Coca-Cola or Pepsi here. They also have high-chairs for toddlers and children. The restaurant itself is immaculate and incredibly well maintained. It has very nice lighting and a welcoming ambiance. There are also a couple of tables and chairs right outside of the entrance.

My food was made fresh after I ordered it. I did not have to wait long, maybe 5 minutes, before it was done. The reason that I rushed to write this review is because of just how good the food was. The falafel sandwich I had included falafel's, spinach, pesto, onions, and pickled turnips wrapped in pita bread. It was incredible. I don't often review food, so I lack the words here, but this sandwich was very good and made me happy after eating it. I cannot wait to go back and try the other versions of their falafel sandwiches and platters as well. The french fries I ordered were cooked to perfection, golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The baklava was also incredibly delicious. They had several versions of it, but I tried the square one.

Anyways, I can highly recommend this to anyone looking for some Mediterranean food near Claremont.

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Large portions

Cons: Food is prepared in same space as meat and dairy

Great food!

I eat here almost once a week, and the food is fantastic.

All of their baklava options are vegan, and their menu clearly labels all vegan options. I am partial to the falafel sandwich!

You can also order online which makes it a quick and easy meal option.

Pros: Online ordering, Labeled vegan options, Great Location

One of my favorites

I eat at Saca's twice a month and I could not love another place more. The food is delicious! I usually eat the vegan pita sandwiches and the Moroccan tea. The location is beautiful and I recommend to anyone who's is curious about trying Mediterranean food.

Pros: Labels vegan, location, Falafels

Cons: Serves meat
