CLOSED: Sabores Dominican Restaurant
Serves meat, vegan options available. Small Dominican restaurant with vegan options highlighted on a chalkboard in the front. Vegans could get the Dominican spaghetti, meatless eggplant balls, rice with pigeon peas, rice with either pinto or black beans, lentil soup. Often runs out of dishes, so calling ahead can be helpful. REPORTED CLOSED, NOV 2016. Open Tue 11:00am-4:00pm, Wed 10:00am-8:00pm, Thu 10:00am-9:00pm, Fri 10:00am-12:00am, Sat 12:00am-12:00am, Sat 11:00am-9:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Delicious authentic dominican food - Edit
Ate there tonight and Ester greeted me with information that she had eggplant balls tonight (they are often out when I visit). You can tell lots of love goes into the food and the owners are so sweet!
Pros: knowledgeable, friendly staff, vegan options clearly listed, only carribean restaurant in SBC
Cons: weird hours, closed on Mondays, runs out or can't get some items on menu
