Some good options, flexible staff - Edit
I came here once for dinner, twice for breakfast and once for a snack.
Read moreThe smashed eggplant was tasty though some more herbs and spices would've added some more refinement.
I had sticky rice with mango for dessert and it was so much that I didn't even eat half and they put it in the fridge overnight for me as to have it for breakfast the next day. No extra charge, how nice!
Omelettes are alright. The pancake I had as a snack was a bit dry.
Fruitshakes are great.

Okay vegan options - Edit
There are not a lot of restaurants in this village and they probably know that. Their price went up a lot more than the photo’s of the menu I saw here. They have some vegan options, but they don’t have tofu. I had the smashed aubergine with rice and a sandwich with vegetables. Both were okay. The smashed aubergine had way too much garlic in it for me. I was eating trunks of garlic. The vegetable sandwich is quite boring and they could put some more effort in it.

Accidentally served eggs - Edit
We had a great time eating in at the restaurant. Both the curry and the aubergine dish were delicious, especially the latter which was nice and garlicky. However we ordered some additional food to take away for the bus: more aubergine & salad sandwiches and some spring rolls. Unfortunately the spring rolls ended up having egg in despite requests not to- maybe a communication issue between the waiter (who was French and spoke good English and understood veganism) and the kitchen staff. Such a shame, especially as their food was really good! They offered a refund rather than remaking them. I think it’s the only real option in the area , so I hope they sort this issue out for future customers
