Very good Indian

Serves Indian & Laotion food, great breakfasts and vegetarian/vegan dishes.

Staff are very polite and speak very good English. Informative about the region.

Money exchange and SIM cards also available here.

Buenas opciones veganas

El único lugar en este pueblo donde poder comer vegano sin miedo a lo que puedas encontrarte en tu plato.
Restaurante de comida hindú i laosiana, el dueño habla inglés.
La comida esta muy rica.

The only place to eat in Viengxai

I spent two nights in Viengxai and other than once I ate here each time. There aren't really any other options, but that doesn't mean this isn't a good option. The owner is Indian and speaks good english, and also understands veganism and so you just need to tell him. Everything freshly prepared and very tasty. There are lots of vegetarian options. I sat there long enough and tourists seem to trickle in and it was easy to talk to people. It gets a 4 happy cows because it is the best, and only, place for veg*ns to eat in town.

Pros: English menu and spoke, Lots of veg*n options that can be vegan if asked, Friendly and easy to chat to others

Cons: Not veg*n
