Really friendly & tasty place - staff made a mistake with my order so they brought over both the original and the (delicious) mistake sandwich for me.

Dropped by to pick up some late lunch, but found they were sold out of most of the vegan options (but had plenty of all of the meat options - always the way!)
Read moreI decided to order the Shroom which is described as “Mushrooms. All of the kinds, the long thin ones, the button-y ones, the king and brown ones.”
Unfortunately what I got was bread with a bit of vegan cheese and a whole lot of weird fungus (texture of seaweed) - no actual mushrooms could be found inside.
Plus the fungus was “pickled” which apparently meant it was so sugary it was like eating a jam sandwich.
Managed to eat about half of it but couldn’t stomach any more - weird and disgusting.
Really sad - I wonder if they know what their own food tastes like? 😒

I had seen an add on instagram for this place and added it to my restaurant list! My boyfriend and I ventured there today and were very happy with our decision! I was thrilled to see such creative options on the menu!! Staff were lovely and very helpful when I asked about a particular ingredient that I don’t like. We got 2 sandwiches and shared them. We got the Beet Reuben and the Vegan Sausage. The bread was so soft and fresh and both sandwiches blew me away! The sauce on the Reuben was amazing and the chilli jam and vegan salami were fantastic too. They were the perfect size and we were quite happy with the price especially since all the vegan sandwiches were about the same price or cheaper than the non-vegan options. They had lots of sides (chips, tater tots and eggplant chips) as well as the gravy and sriracha mayo being vegan. My boyfriend got an oat latte which was really good as well. Will definitely be coming back! It’s on a main road so parking is a bit hard, we managed to park in a side street not too far away though.
