CAULIFLOWER WINGS ARE BROCCOLI ALSO. I took them back and the lady treated me like I was an idiot for saying that I paid for cauliflower not broccoli.
Literally do not go there unless you are desperate. Everyone was okay and lovely besides the dark haired woman.
I had to prompt her by asking if I can get it remade to be the cauliflower wings as advertised and she said she would let me know. Left me sitting for half an hour before I just got up and asked for a refund and she hadn't even made me anything at that point like a replacement. Pretty sure she was hoping I would just leave.
Cannot begin to express how awful you will be treated if you go here.
The “Karen” veggie burger pretty much sums up this place’s vibe. The young woman serving us looked like she’d rather face a horde of zombies than answer a simple question about vegan options. Vegan and vegetarian items were reluctantly and grudgingly squeezed onto the menu — except, of course, for their one bold vegetarian burger, named The Karen. That felt like part of the setup too. Like, sure, we’ll cater for you… but not without getting in the last word. Clear labeling? Forget it. Instead, you’re forced to ask — and you can almost see it in her eyes: that slow burn of resignation mixed with a tiny spark of triumph. The “here we go again” energy was strong. Customer service and humour felt thoroughly drained and distant— maybe rationed out only to those enthusiastically ordering one of their many meat burgers.
As any vegan will tell you - sometimes you go to not your first choice but what might be your only choice when out with friends who aren’t vegan. Honestly, this isn’t somewhere I’d usually choose, but I tagged along with my friends after a quick online search that somehow suggested vegan options - plus my friends wanted a brewery.
About the food: The cauliflower wings were generous and filling, but by the end, they’d turned from tasty snack to a bit of a dry, heavy chore to finish. Overall the service gave me a bad taste also! Go there if you have to!
Pros: Technically has vegan and vegetarian options, Great if you’re into passive-aggressive menu names, You’ll leave full — if not exactly satisfied
Cons: Cauliflower wings: dry, heavy, and hard work , Asking what’s vegan feels like stepping on a landm, Customer service served with a sigh — unless you’r
