Wine and vegan tapas (in an omnivorous town)

This place wasn't even on my radar until I arrived in Clarens - and then the word "vegan" shot out at me from across the road. Gotta love that.

The vegan tapas platter is the very first thing listed on the menu, and we found it satisfying and tasty. Given the underwhelming portions on other vegan platters I've tried at omnivore restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised with the care and quantity provided.

If you're vegetarian (not vegan), you're going to be very happy with the cheese selection here.

While small, the terrace is cosy and the staff is quite thoughtful. I will definitely return.

Pros: Clear understanding of vegan food, Tasty food, Friendly staff

Cons: A touch on the pricey side (but not too expensive)

Unfortunately they are no longer in Clarens but moved up to JHB now.. Hopefully they still do vegan options😄

Hi everyone. Rustic Vine changed its name to 'Belle Bistro & Wine', with a delicious French Provençal menu. We have limited vegatarian options, but are working on it adding more.

Our delicious vegan pasta is not on the menu, but available on pre-booking.

We are located at 68 4th Avenue, Linden, Randburg.
