Almost nothing on the menu is vegan

Nothing on the menu is listed as vegan, and the only thing (other than possibly some of the sides) that appears to be vegan is the avo toast. Even the salads and the Beyond Burger served here are not vegan.

To be sure, you could ask that a dish be altered so that is made vegan--but the same is true in just about any restaurant in NYC. And if one is not careful, mistakes do happen: for instance, I notice that of the four photos posted here on HC, three of them show dishes that are not vegan:

(1) The kale salad has pecorino (i.e., cheese);
(2) The pancakes show a side of Nutella (which uses dairy); and
(3) the fries are shown with aioli sauce (which almost always uses eggs).

This might be a fine restaurant for non-vegans, but if you are looking for vegan food, why would you choose to go here when there are so many better options nearby?

Pros: Perhaps good for those who want non-vegan food
