Sweet place - Edit

Have had a very pleasant lunch there (burito, spicy chocolate, passion fruit cheesecake and fair trade coffee) the staff is friendly, the food is very good. It's not only vegan but ethical place, using some local food, some fair trade and LGBT friendly zone. Truely recomand this place.

Pros: Ethical, Yummy, Friendly

Great little find! - Edit

I found this little bakery on the Happy Cow app while coming back from the Blue Mountains and I am so glad I did!
The service, food and coffee was excellent and I was very excited to be able to choose anything I wanted off the menu.
We had the pancakes and one of the big breakie options - both delicious and I highly recommend!

Pros: All Vegan, Lovely coffee and service, Vegan goods for sale

what a find! - Edit

Tried this little cafe whilst exploring the mountains. Highlight of my day! GF and Vegan options, yummy to the last mouthful! Great home made chai, and delicious peanut butter cheesecake I could eat! Lovely staff. Support a fantastic local business if you get the chance.

Pros: homemade, lots choices, desserts!

Cons: small, too far away from me!

amazing vegan food! - Edit

Rubyfruit is one of the best vegan cafés I've ever been to. Great, fresh meals with lots of variety. Cakes and sweets to die for as well. It's like vegan heaven and your non-vegan friends will love it as well!!

fantastic food - Edit

Ate there yesterday, had a green-envy frittata with a rainbow salad. The star of the meal was a roast chilli jam.

It had an impressive menu, only shame is it got a bit crowded and the tables are on top of each other. We had a screaming kid next to us

But this is a testament to their popularity.

Pros: menu, taste, what else is there in leura

Cons: crowded, only takes cash

Really Good Cake - Edit

Good coffee. Really good cake, I almost want to say it's a shame so many are gluten free because the texture isn't as good but at the same time I do like seeing different dietary needs catered for. A good selection to choose from. Staff are lovely and exceptionally cheerful. The cafe itself is clean, bright and pleasant.

Excellent all round - Edit

Well worth the drive from Sydney. Mix it up with a day of hiking or other frolicking in the mountains for a top day out.

The vegan ladies that run this place were first noted for their great cakes, and they remain great. The cheesecakes are the best in Aus, hands down! All their cafe style food is super tasty and ranges from healthy wraps to tasty fry-ups; sure to be something for all. Good coffee too.

It's a small place that presents fresh and clean. It can get busy so try to dodge the rush hours. You can take-away too. And there is also a small section where you can buy frozen and shelf-stable vegan items.

All in all, a great place.

Pros: All vegan, Great food, Superb cakes

Cons: Far from my place.

I love rubyfruit! - Edit

I really can't say enough good things about Rubyfruit. I've been here a few times, so I have tried everything from breakfasts to burgers and salads. I was also lucky enough to go along to a special event they had for valentine's day, which had three courses and a platter. Beautiful. The cheesecakes here are amazing and also the in-house baked goods (pies etc). Burgers are generous and salads are creative with fresh ingredients. Also, the coffee with hazelnut milk is great, This would be a good place to take non vegans and convert them!

Pros: amazing food, Great service

beauty-full - Edit

Came from Sydney for the day. an extremely hot day & the cafe being in an arcade & air conditioned was heaven.a beautiful atmosphere- clean & fresh, There are about 6 tables so quite small, they sell food like frozen meals such as pizza, there is a whole range of dry foods to like biscuits, chocolate, bars etc & a refrigeration section where you can buy cheese of many kinds, mock meat, yoghurt & drinks. You are welcomed by the lovely workers who hand you a menu of drinks & food as well as shown a blackboard which includes all the specials & breakfast menu. There is quite a range - Frittata (which is amazing) burgers, massive wraps, tofu dishes & the drinks.... Milkshakes, exotic smoothies, ice coffee, ice chocolate, juices & more. The prices are a little steep but Its worth it by far. the only real con is it's very small it deserves to be bigger with all the good food & flavor they offer. A must go to.

Pros: heavenly food, lovely workers, welcoming atmosphere

Cons: small

Awesome find! - Edit

Stumbled across Rubyfruit on my first time visit to Leura with my dad. He's a non-veg pie fanatic & it's a bit of a family tradition to stop in at the local bakery in every town we visit. It was such a prize to find a vegan bakery, let me tell you. He loved it & I was so happy to be able to join in the bakery tradition, haha. The staff are ultra friendly and the food is ace. I plan to return to sample the rest of the menu!!

Pros: friendly, all vegan, delicious

Cons: so far away from me ;)
