Serves meat, vegan options available. Holds a vegan evening every month. Uses seasonal, local produce and menu changes monthly. The vegan dishes could include potato & leek soup with truffle oil, tempura cauliflower with chilli jam, parsnip risotto with apple, raisin and pine nuts, aubergine, avocado with flat breads and a brownie with strawberry sorbet or apple & pear crumble with granola for dessert. Open Wed-Sun 12:00-15:00, Wed-Sat 18:00-23:00. Closed Mon-Tue. Sun is roast only with pre-booked vegan option.

Clever and a full of flavour - Edit
Rubino Kitchen holds a vegan evening on the first Wednesday or each month, and vegan options are always available, though you have to mention you’re vegan when booking.
Read moreIt’s a vegan taster menu, but the portions are perfect, bearing in mind you get 6 courses for £36 - 4 savoury and 2 sweet. The flavours are amazing.
The food is full of flavour and all the veg used is seasonal. Most of my friends eat meat but they still love it, and rave about some of the dishes.
The entire menu is changed every month, ingredients are seasonal and as local as possible.
You can take your time, there’s never a rush to finish and leave, everyone has always been happy for you to just take your time. It’s a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The chef is very talented and clever. I’m so grateful that we have him cooking for us in our little corner of England.
This restaurant is my absolute favourite and the prices are so reasonable, when you consider the skill and talent of the chef.
Pros: Delicious food, Great staff, Relaxed with a warm atmosphere
Cons: Fact it’s not on my home doorstep!
