Vegan items are NOT actually vegan! - Edit
The very rude owner marks certain menu items vegan with a V, but none of them actually are! He made that abundantly clear when I ordered the aloo tikki & Chana and it arrived with yoghurt drizzled over the top (which he confirmed was dairy curd). I said but I asked for it vegan and he said I'm the only person who's ever complained! He hesitantly agreed to make me another minus the yoghurt after scoffing and saying that I just wasted their dish! I asked if the Chana curry was made using ghee or butter, as by this point I wasn't entirely convinced he understood what vegan meant. He said, "Of course! That's what Indian food is about!" I was beyond shocked and tried explaining that what he was doing by misrepresenting some dishes as vegan even though they weren't was extremely wrong but he just didn't seem to care!
Read moreVegan is my diet preference but I would shudder to think if it was someone's allergy and they could not consume dairy!
I cannot stress enough, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE with an obnoxious, stubborn owner who clearly has no scruples!

They were friendly and fixed very good Indian food to us. The interior was a little old fashioned but cozy.
