Tasty vegan options - Edit
Very tasty vegan options. I had a homemade lemonade with my meal which was super refreshing. Close to the city centre, friendly staff and great atmosphere!

Die veganen Optionen waren geschmacklich sehr gut. Insgesamt ist die Auswahl nicht riesig, aber ausreichend. Einziger Abzug: Im Verhältnis zum Angebot ist es etwas zu teuer.

Enttäuschend - Edit
Das Restaurant „Roter Elephant“ ist, wenn man auf die Karte schaut, eine gute Option, wenn man sich mit einer/m Mischköstler:in zum Essen treffen möchte. Ich war sehr gespannt darauf, da es hier so viele positive Bewertungen gibt. Leider wurde ich mehr als enttäuscht, da ich als Hauptspeise eine kleine Schüssel mit fettigen Klößen und Gemüse hingestellt bekommen habe. Die versprochenen grünen Bohnen fehlten komplett, wodurch das Gemüse nur aus Möhren und Zucchini bestand. Der Salat, den ich dazu bestellt hatte, war genauso fettig, total warm und hat fade geschmeckt. Total hungrig und enttäuscht bin ich dann weiter und habe mich dann woanders satt gegessen. Ich würde hier definitiv nicht noch einmal hin und würde es auch keinem empfehlen. Sogar meine Begleitung empfand sein Essen als viel zu fettig und nicht lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber das hat den Abend dort leider nicht gerettet.

Mega leckere vegane Optionen - Edit
Ich war mega begeistert von den kreativen veganen Optionen, die es da gibt. Sie sind vielfältig und wirken mega liebevoll zubereitet. Der Service ist klasse und auch die Getränke sind richtig gut.

Das Restaurant an sich finde ich sehr schön. Außerdem gibt es nicht die typischen 0815-Gerichte - allerdings auch nicht besonders viel Auswahl. Dennoch kann man hier getrost essen gehen, wenn man Lust auf etwas neues hat.

Ich hatte die Kloßbällchen mit Gemüse und war absolut begeistert von dem leckeren Geschmack! Die Portion hatte auch eine gute Größe. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, sodass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Even after 9:30pm they served us a nice dinner. Unfortunately little portions and that’s why a bit pricey but good taste. Nice staff and location. The menu is clearly labelled.

Very cozy restaurant in the heart of the old town. Several vegetarian and vegan options that are clearly labelled, so everyone will find something to eat. All the dishes that we tried were absolutely delicious. Sadly, the portions were rather small, which can turn out expensive if you're very hungry.

Very friendly staff. In the middle of old town. Around 1/3 of the menu is veg*n and clearly labeled which is both very unusual in this part of Germany. Mostly traditional Germany food. Good, fresh, tasty. Wine and coffee are good, too. Maybe better make a reservation just to be on the safe side.
