Stumbled across this; what a treat! - Edit
Owner was so friendly. Try the sesame one which has a sort of hazelnut ganache in the middle. It was also lovely to try the kumquat cake which is nice to do as kumquats are the local delicacy!

Tons of vegan options - Edit
A whole shelf and a half of vegan pastries (not labelled, but the server knew which ones they were). Warning - they are very rich, so don't order too many! Good Greek coffee too. I'll be back again.

Good vegan bakery options, including chocolate pastries (not all baklava). You do have to buy five though for just under ten euros.

Everything’s sticky and I love it - Edit
Rosie is super friendly and knows her stuff. She guided us through the surprisingly big selection of sweet and savory baked goods and let us know which pieces included honey (not too many). Everything else was vegan and delicious. Especially the sweets - so sirupy and sticky 🤤

Great ethical tasty range - Edit
Rosie's magic bakery means something to me. The owner is conscious about ingredients and her range is increasingly in keeping with this. Carmine-free, GMO-free, so far around 40 vegan items ... do yourself a favour and enjoy the increasingly ethical tastiness :D

Vegan Delights - Edit
This place is simply amazing and very unique.
Read moreRosy is a very warm and friendly person and so kind-hearted.
The prices are actually not bad at all considering what you get. Tons of vegan options that we don't even get in Athens. We actually thought the stuff would be twice as expensive.
Update: I recently went back, and Rosy and her daughter are still as lovely as before. There are various vegan options, and she knows that honey is not vegan which is not common knowledge in Greece at all.
The prices are by weight which is absolutely normal in Greece, and for this quality you cannot get anything cheaper.

Nice taste - lots of waste - Edit
I've been in the cosy bakery today and have eaten something salty (spinach pie) which hat good taste but was expensive (have to add, that corfu is a more expensive place than average greece).
Read moreThe coice of not sweet is very little - the one for sweet bakery very big.
I didn't like the packaging. People in front of me ordert some sweets and got them packed in a aluminium box. For my pie the lady wanted to use some alu foil - I said, I will eat it immediatly and don't need package - still she put the pie on the foil. ... so, there is some potential for improvement.
And the ingredients should be organic - than it's a realy great place to go in corfu city!
Pros: good taste, huge choice for sweet
Cons: very little choice for salty, alu-packaging, expensive

Lovely place - Edit
Entering Rosy’s bakery is like getting to paradise. We couldn’t decide which pieces we wanted to try so we bought a variety of lovely vegan baklava, sweets and pies. The quality is amazing and you can really taste Rosy’s baking love. She was so nice to us and explained everything. Everybody can find something inside this bakery. Gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and even sugar-free pieces are available.

lots of vegan choices, most of it sweeeeet - Edit
Rose is a great lady who was very engaged in showing me all the vegan options. I tastet four of them and they all were great. Most of them just too sweat for my taste. This is the way sweats are in Greece though, so it´s even great that she offers some pieces that are sweatened without sugar (stevia as I remember it). Definetely worth a visit.

best vegan bakery ! - Edit
The best vegan/gluten free bakery in the whole island and probably in all of Greece. Too many sweets to choose from, I cannot say one bad thing about it. The owner is a sweet lady that makes you feel right at home not to mention she not only knows English but also Italian!

Rose is a Gem! - Edit
Lovely little bakery. Rose is a big personality who clearly loves what she does. Invites you in the see everything and will talk you though everything; asks questions to get a feel for your tastes. I think some of the reviews about price are unfair, this is fresh baked baklava (which isn’t cheap anywhere!) we got 10 generous pieces for €18. There is a smaller outlet further down the same street. A MUST VISIT!

This place is awesome, sooo many vegan options! The baklava is great but what I liked most ist this chocolate pastry (on the picture I uploaded) this was the most delicious thing ever, tasted like nutella but even better:) I don’t think it’s too expensive, I’m absolutely ok with paying 2€ for a delicious vegan pastry.

Baklava is a must - Edit
I tried two different types of mini baklavas, the mini cinnamon roll things, a powdered sugar covered pastry and a chocolate dipped oat bar. The baklava and oat bar were amazing! However, I disliked my other two choices. Its also pretty ovepriced for a bakery in my opinion.
Read moreThe only thing I disliked from the experience is owner did not want to give my mom change for a big bill so she asked me to give her some of my coins to help pay for hers. Which I didn't mind because it is my mom, but it is just the principal of the owner asking me to pay for someone else's order because she did not want to give her change that I found a bit odd.
Pros: lots of vegan options, baklava is very good
Cons: expensive

Fab return after 2yrs - amazing bakery & owner! - Edit
I visited Rosy's bakery two years ago (review on my vegancruiser blog) and have been counting the days to get back. This wee bakery is a vegan heaven, with so much choice. I struggle to find vegan baklava at home and the range on offer here is phenomenal - as is the lady who owns and runs the place. She's a fantastic character and just as we were in, other visitors came in stating they too were repeat visitors from 2 years previous. Once you find this, you will be back. Prices are on the higher side but I well worth it. Rosy has gluten free options too. Oh, and despite the original listing stating saying she uses honey, Rosy asked me to pass on a note she doesn't. Her baklava is fully vegan, she uses fruit based syrup.
Read morePros: Amazing baklava, fabulous owner, friendly
Cons: Small location, can be hard to find, not cheap

Delish, but pricey - Edit
No prices listed and no cheque, so as tourist you can expect a ,,special" price for you. Also, no ingredients listed, so you can trust the baker or not. I understand that fresh handmade sweets are more expensive than regular, but not so much! 4 simple patties 14 euros!
Read morePros: a lot to choose from
Cons: expensive, too sugary, no prices and ingredients listed
