Food is okay, atmosphere is great! - Edit
This is the oldest pub in Banff and a place where a lot of locals come. They have live music every day. I had the vegetarian pizza without cheese (they offer vegan cheese though) and it was okay, tasted good but the dough was a bit stale. The nachos as a starter were great!

Les nachos vegan…. Le fromage vegan utilisé est le daiya, je ne suis pas une fan donc nous l’avons prit sans fromage… mais 5$ d’extra pour la guaccamole

Worth it for the view - Edit
I love the rooftop here, and it’s a great social atmosphere. The food is filling and decent but it won’t be anything you remember. They have vegan cheese for nachos and poutine which is nice!

I got the vegan tikka masala and really enjoyed it. The waiter did mention that all meals are frozen and reheated here.
Read moreThe other people I was dining with got salads which are also pre-made as we found plastic wrap in them and the lettuce was pretty wilted.

Great Poutine - Edit
I would advise you all to ignore the other review of this place. The poutine is great. The cheese doesn't melt but I don't think that matters. It doesn't detract from the meal.

Atmosphere 5, food we ordered 2 - Edit
I'm changing my stars to 1 since this site is about food reviews. I would not order food here or go back for food. The views are great so maybe just consider getting a drink on the upper deck. Place is busy. Service was meh but all waiters are different. We tried poutine which is French fries topped with gravy and vegan cheese the way we ordered it. Dish was close to cold. None of the cheese melted. We were real hungry so we ordered this pile brown stuff. Atmosphere is great. So try it for a drink but skip the fries covered in gravy.
