delicious vegan pizza

they have a separate vegan menu with pizzas as well as paninis and a few other choices, but i honestly only looked at the pizza. there are at least ten different kinds and they all seem different from each other. they are connected to the gelato shop next door, that has vegan gelato, sorbet, and many other desserts. vegan cannoli was delicious. i highly recommend.

Incredible pizza

We had a great experience at Roscoe's Pizzeria. I really appreciated the effort they put into crafting an extensive vegan menu. We ordered the vegan Margherita pizza (9/10) and the vegan harvest pizza (7/10). Highly recommend the Margherita pizza. We also had a vegan cannoli which was delicious. Will definitely return!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fast and efficient

Cons: A bit pricey

Solid vegan pizza

The vegan cheesesteak pizza is really good. I’ve also tried the vegan wild mushroom pizza but thought it was a little on the oily side. If you’re a party of two, I highly recommend getting one pizza and one panini and splitting them. They also have vegan desserts (the cannoli was delicious)!

Pros: Dedicated vegan menu, Vegan wines are labeled

Cons: Pizzas are on the small side

Nice Vegan menu, somewhat overpriced

I appreciate that there is a separate vegan menu; however, some things on it are overpriced, especially for how bland many of the items are. We’ve had a number of the pizzas, many of which aren’t seasoned enough at all and only one of the appetizers, which was okay but not great. We stick with getting the vegan marg pizza as it’s worth the price and has good classic wood fire flavor. Maybe we just haven’t had the right one! I will say that the paninis are very good, love that it comes with a fresh spring mix salad too.

The all day happy hour is a big plus, the rose sangria is a great price and fresh. I also love that they have vegan treats desserts, VT never fails!

Pros: Vegan treats desserts , All day happy hour , Vegan paninis

Cons: Expensive, Not many outdoor tables

Separate vegan menu!

This is our go-to when we want a good wood-fired pizza. Their crust is excellent and they have about 10 different options for vegan pizzas and also offer 5 vegan paninis and vegan apps, as well as a vegan cannoli for dessert. We usually go for the capricciosa pizza and the wild mushroom pizza. Love the fresh taste of their tomato sauce. Don't love that the vegan cheese they use is Daiya - wish they would switch to Follow Your Heart. I usually just ask them to put less cheese on. I also would prefer Impossible Sausage to what they use. There is also a connected gellateria next door that offers 6 vegan flavors that are incredibly creamy. Try the salted caramel!

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Vegan desserts available next door, Indoor and outdoor seating

Cons: Uses Daiya cheese

Great pizza, salads, beer, and wine

Always good, fresh, and really consistent. Lots of vegan options for pizzas, paninis, etc. and a good beer, wine, and cocktail selection.

So Pricey; Rock-like Gluten-Free pizza

It was vegan food, but since Tacoma Park is not a vegan desert, I don’t think this is worth it. The crust was so hard, dry and brittle. I got a pizza with two toppings and it was $24. I only drank water. By the time I paid tax and tip it was $31 for a not very pleasant pizza. Instead you might want to the nearby Seoul Food, they have great noodles

Pros: Nice setting , Great service

Amazing pizza!

The all vegan menu was so fabulous. I tried the margarita, mushroom pizza, and chicken pesto. I can’t recommend all of the pizzas enough! I also can’t wait to come back and try the paninis sold. This was a great place for a date or just a classy yet casual dinner or lunch. Next door is some vegan gelato and vegan desserts from vegan treats. Well worth the 20 minute drive from me.

Pros: Dedicated, extensive vegan menu, Delicious flavors , Nice ambiance

Cons: Somewhat pricier

Best vegan pizza

Roscoe’s has to be one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had. They have their own dedicated vegan menu, which is amazing. They have a large selection of vegan cocktails, wine and beer. Next door (through the hallway too) is a gelato shop with vegan gelatos, and baked goods. I will definitely be back to try out more of the vegan menu.

Pros: Vegan menu , Staff is wonderful , Vegan desserts (next door)

New vegan menu is a hit!

I’ve been a regular at Roscoe’s for years, but it wasn’t until they recently introduced a vegan menu that I considered it worthy of a Happy Cow review.

To be fair, they’ve offered vegan cheese and pepperoni for a while, so it’s been my go-to pizza place. Still, I always found myself longing for some of the more creative vegan pies I can find in other large cities. That all changed this week when to my surprise, they made a serious upgrade to their vegan offerings.

The new menu has only been out a few days. But my wife and I have already had the vegan cheesesteak, chicken & pesto, and cafone pizzas. All three were quite tasty. My wife’s favorite was the cafone. I was crazy for the pesto sauce on the chicken & pesto, but the cheesesteak pizza won me over. I haven’t tried the paninis yet, but they’re next on my list.

As if the pizzas and paninis weren’t enough, they also had a killer vegan sangria. The owner creates amazing cocktails and his recent switch to veganism is responsible for the new, dedicated menu.

I’d give Roscoe’s 5 stars if I could, but Happy Cow only allows a max of 4 stars for veg friendly restaurants

Pros: New vegan menu with many vegan pizzas and paninis, Great cocktails and a shockingly tasty margarita , Friendly, neighborhood vibe

Cons: Can get crowded but there’s often room at the bar

Local Relaxation

This place is very low key, but it's always busy and filled with people of all types - families, bar flies, singles, couples and other gatherings. The people are friendly and fast to attend, and there are many working the pizza area and the kitchen to keep up with the non-stop parade of patrons.

The ambiance reflects the casual menu, as does the warmth of the staff reflect the welcoming environment. The food menu is a traditional style upscale pizzeria, and they have a well-stocked bar menu as well.

On the menu, they have a few vegan items and a few more vegetarian items. All the vegan items are marked with a V. The salads are vegetarian but vegan friendly sans the cheese and some of the dressings. They have a couple appetizers like the lentil soup and haricots verts, crostini and olives. There are sandwiches that might suit one's lunchtime fancy including an eggplant with olives or a squash and roasted peppers.

Finally, I presume most will go here for the pizza. The crust is vegan and can be made into 2 pre-decided creations: marinara or vegani. These are great for those who like simply created pizzas. However, for the braver and bolder, there are additional items to add on, like artichokes, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, vegan pepperoni, olives, rapini, eggplant and arugula. The crust is hearty and not too thin or thick. The server can bring you additional olive oil as you please for the pizza, but who needs it with the fresh veggies and garlic flavor!

I would go back if in the area and in need of pizza. It's busy and crowded, but, the pizza is fair and filling. The prices match the area for made-on-the-site pizza. Yum!

Pros: Vegan items marked on menu, Vegan pizza, Low key

Cons: Just a bit pricey, Small space for demand/ population
