I am sorry that this restaurant is closing but so happy that I finally got to try Rosalinda’s food. I decided to start with the soup of the day and have to say it was far from boring tomato soup. It was thick and delicious with edamame, seasoned with rosemary and topped with crispy croutons. So delicious! Next I tried sweet potato and queso flautas. I loved the flavours of this dish as well.
Read moreI was quite hungry and wanted to try something else. The server recommended the Rosa burger. Loved the presentation and serving size. The yucca fries were crispy and tasty. Am not a fan nor have ever eaten ( or ever will) Beyond burgers so was thrilled with having a handmade black bean, grain and brown rice patty . Yummy through and through! Loved the bun!
Always room for dessert and couldn’t leave without trying the churros. The server was not kidding about being careful biting into it with hot caramel inside which dripped everywhere! Gad to eat it carefully but combination of chocolate, caramel and churros satisfied my sweet tooth!
Enjoyed my lunch there though sorry to see another vegan eatery close down.

Was really excited to visit but left a bit disappointed. The menu was quite small and the food, while pretty good, could be so much better for the price. Service was slow with 18% tip included (large party).

This place used to have a wide taco menu with lots of smoky dishes and interesting cocktails. Now it has a narrow menu with few, light flavour and uninspired cocktails. At these prices, I'm expecting better. Exception: the calabaza main was sublime.

I liked the decoration. It is like an outdoor/indoor greenhouse theme. We got the small nachos, chile relleno, and chorizo tacos. The nachos were the best. My non-vegan husband said they were 10/10. If I were to do it again, I would ask for extra jalapeños. The tacos were my second favorite, but they needed hot sauce (available on request). The relleno was also good, but the chickpeas and side potatoes were not to my taste. The chickpeas added an unwelcoming surprise texture. Luckily, they were easily removable. I would get different mains next time. It took a while for us to be served, but the staff was friendly and no problems after the initial greeting and ordering.

Really great food and all fully vegan. Unique dishes and lovely flavours. Nice atmosphere inside, very green and planty. I find it really hard to find a vegan Caesar salad and this one was so good. Churros were incredible too.

I went here as a group of 4 and it was a great place to have a meal and conversation without loud music. The decor is really beautiful and the service was great. Some of what we ordered was amazing, some not so much. Small portions for the price (other than the HUGE nacho appetizer) and my bowl lacked sauce. We also weren’t a fan of the churros, they felt undercooked and we weren’t aware that they were filled with burning hot caramel until it poured all over our hands. Be careful if you order that. Still, we’ll likely be back when we want to take friends somewhere nice. I really recommend the nachos!!!

From the craft cocktails to the dessert, every sip and bite was delicious. Vegetables shine in the jicama and tomato salad. Jackfruit tacos just the right size with well-matched ingredients. Churros and the Chocolate & Cashew Cazuela topped off the meal with just the right blens of sweet and spice. Will be back again!

I really enjoyed my experience at Rosalinda's, and thought the food was very tasty. I know a lot of people love this place, but to me it was not exactly authentic Mexican food (I'm Latina so I am very familiar with Mexican food), and I thought it was a little overpriced. The aesthetic was lovely though, and was a nice "fancy" night out.

Based on all the other reviews, we were really looking forward to finally eating here. It was disappointing. The black bean fritters were okay but that it where things ended. The tacos were not worth the price for something we could have made at home with more flavour and the tamale was not good at all. It shouldn't be difficult to have success 'veganizing' Mexican food but this was a miss. Presentation was lovely (as a positive). Due to the food itself, we will not be back.
