Great atmosphere, great food - Edit

A relatively small menu with simple dishes, but all very tasty. We liked it so much, we had breakfast and lunch here in the same day :). Big smiles from the friendly staff the day we were there :)

Fresh all vegan food - Edit

I LOVE Roots. I've tried some bowls of theirs, and today I went in with my friend to try their breakfast. For 12,- you get blueberry overnight oats, their own seed bread topped with something like hummus, semi-dried tomato and sprouts as well as homemade juice and coffee. I think the food is very well worth the price and the breakfast was delicious! Lots of flavours, fresh ingredients and everything is vegan. The bowl dishes I tried before were amazing, as well. Now I need to join them for a yoga class one day.

Pros: All-vegan, Fresh, Great price-quality ratio

Amazeballs - Edit

went here with my SO for brunch on a Saturday
The atmosphere is cosy, Nora Jones on the stereo, plenty of lighting and the room is spacious.

We orderd a flat bread and the oriental plate, the food tasted excellent and the servings were generous. So generous we had to leave some to have dessert.
Our dessert was 2 raw cakes, and like the rest of the food it tasted very good, the filling melted in the tongue and the bottom was crunchy.

For the price it was worth it and they earned their 5 stars
(Would've given them 4,5, but since that's not an option, I rounded up)

I was searching and searching and found this place - Edit

Very cozy lil joint/coffee shop/Vegan eatery. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make me feel at home. ..and I did! Food was good and the ginger shot was on the money. Ventures like this must be supported by the Vegan community.

Pros: Nice options and they seem flexible

Cons: Maybe a tad pricey

Nice café, good meals - Edit

Really nice café with limited choice of savoury dishes.

Pros: good burgers which are different, in a good way, yummy cakes, very friendly staff

Cons: only few warm dishes (but of course it's a café)

Pretty good - Edit

We went to Teurastamo first but there was nothing vegan there except for that one food truck, so we decided to walk over here instead. We got two kombuchas, the pulled oats burger, and the raspberry cake to share. The burger was pretty good. I especially liked the "bun" (if you can call it that). I've never had pulled oats before and was excited to try. They are these little nuggets that resemble meat crumbles and are supposed to be healthier and more natural than soy meats. I found them alright—great texture, okay flavor, just a tad dry. I was glad I got to try. The cake, though, was yummo! I know it's not that easy to get the texture right in raw cakes. And I think they nailed it here.

While I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this place, if you're around looking for grub, this would be a safe choice. Being all vegan is a big plus, too.

Disappointed - Edit

The menu is quite small, and I went for the pea tempeh burger, as the salads looked like things I make at home. Do not order this unless you are a really big fan of mustard. It was completely covered in it! I tried disassembling it to pick out things that I could eat, but it was impossible, it was like eating a pot of mustard. I gave up. They did eventually come and ask if everything was OK, and I explained. She gave me a cheesecake slice which was absolutely delicious so I guess I had pudding for dinner! So I'd recommend it for the cakes but not the main course.

Pros: Excellent cheesecake

Cons: Overuse of mustard

Delicious food, cool decor - Edit

I love their pulled oats flat bread and edamame noodle salad. They have waffles too, sweet or savory! And for a dessert, try Greenstreet's raw cakes, the lingonberry and butterscotch one is amazing.
