Second and smaller branch of the local company. Opened early 2011. Deli sells handmade food products and a range of vegetarian and vegan options. All foods are labelled. Shop sells a range of store cupboard essentials, organic goods and fairtrade products. Fresh fruit and vegetable, soya milk, and other vegan goods available. Open Mon-Thu 8:30am-7:30pm, Fri-Sat 8:30am-7:00pm, Sun 10:00am-6:00pm.

I miss roots and fruits - Edit
The byres road shop closed after I moved to Edinburgh. They moved to argyle street, i wish it moved to Edinburgh. I miss roots and fruits so much. Awesome fruit and veg shop.
A also offers tofu and vegan/vegetarian products,.

Handy source of picnic for Kelvingrove Park! - Edit
This shop is not to far a walk or cycle from Kelvingrove Park, so good for a healthy picnic feast! Hidden Lane is also nearby (tearooms and craft/ art shops).
The fruit and veg selection is excellent, beautiful varieties of unusual produce as well as locally sourced produce too. Some organics.
The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and happy to explain all the ingredients and sourcing for deli products and will also order things in if you want something in particular.
There are many vegan products, store cupboard ingredients and also a selection of juices and drinks on offer.
It is an excellent shop to explore.
