Delicious food, amazing vibe inside and 10/10 service - Edit
The food is absolutely delicious, and the seating is all so unique and fun - feels really upmarket. It’s mainly sharers (sushi/gyoza etc). While there’s quite a lot of choice, I’d have preferred more choices of main! But still would thoroughly recommend - the waiters were all also so lovely and helpful - would definitely go back!

What a gem in Barcelona! - Edit
My husband and I visited Roots & Rolls tonight and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and we were welcomed by very friendly staff and were told we could sit anywhere.

There is plenty of choice with a range of sides, starters, sushi rolls and noodles, plus many more. They even have a taster menu if you’re not sure what you want to give you a sample of everything.
We ordered the Karaage, Rollitos, Popcorn Cauliflower, Nigiri and Pad Thai.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the nigiri was the best I’ve ever had. Textures were perfect, flavours were incredible. It was like joy in my mouth. I was overwhelmed.
We spent about £60 for all our food, including cocktails and it was well worth the money.
We’re in Barcelona for a few more days and I am sure we will be visiting again. Next time I’ll be leaving room for dessert because the cheesecake looks like something that shouldn’t be missed!

We ate here on our first night in Barcelona recently. We arrived just as the kitchen was closing at 10.30pm due to a delayed flight but they were kind enough to squeeze our order in which we were really grateful for!
Read moreWe had the popcorn cauliflower and gyozas for starters - both delicious and then had the jumpin' jack and hip caroots sushi. All of the food tasted incredible and was all so well presented and cleverly thought through. We had a delicious bottle of wine to go with our late dinner.
Lovely staff, gorgeous interior and some outdoor seating too.
We intended to go back during our trip but didn't manage to.
Highly recommended.

Small menu small portions - Edit
As starters we ordered Gyozas which we enjoyed the most. As the main dish we got the Baos and the Curry. The dishes looked super fancy but weren’t really filling. The Curry had a bland taste but the Baos were really good. We stopped there and went somewhere else hence it would have been too expensive for us to eat till we are full there. We didn’t really eat too much that day but my boyfriend felt really sick the day after. I’m not sure if something was not as fresh or because something didn’t sit right with his stomach but that was the only time this happened here in Barcelona.

We ordered several dishes and all of them were delicious and interesting, we enjoyed them. Their homemade lemonade is amazing. The kombucha didn't impress me that much though. I've visited the place several times as there is always something new to try.

We enjoyed the Spa & food experience. You go to the slow spa for a relaxing jacuzzi and massage and after enjoy a fantastic tasting menu at roots and rolls. I never ate Asian fushion / sushi before that was all vegan. We loved it!! If we could come back to Barcelona we would go here for sure!

went at a strange time so we were the only people in the restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious: prepared and presented beautifully! It is more of an up-market place so the portions were on the smaller side and prices rather high. But it still made for a wonderful experience!!

We had the epic tasting menu. The appetizers were really great, lots of distinct vegan dishes and the taste was delicious. The sushi was less to our liking, were very 'boring' sushi with little flavor. The main course was noodles, these were tasty but too salty in our opinion. Dessert was very good!

The food was outstanding! My partner had the green curry. The portion was very large, it was full of vegetables and wonderful curry flavor. We shared the popcorn cauliflower and kimchi. Both were sized well and very good. The popcorn was crisp and crunchy. I wasn’t a fan of the dipping sauces. I had the bao, which was excellent, and preferred dipping the popcorn in the sauce that accompanied that. We also shared the Say Cheese roll. It was very good, their vegan sushi is very well done.
Read moreThe service was also very good. The staff was very friendly, always smiling and very upbeat. We ordered a 3rd water but it wasn’t delivered before we decided to leave but was on the bill. The server would not let us leave until we were repaid. So nice and friendly fixing a very small mistake quickly, apologetically and with a smile.
