One of the tastiest breakfasts we've had. Almost everything was already or could be made vegan and lots of delicious options! The Rooted breakfast with curried tofu rather than eggs was delicious and lots of elements - a coronation-like flavour, saucy mushrooms, yummy cabbage, comfort hashbrown and some of the best baked beans I've ever had!! The pancakes were also delicious, thick, blueberries were cooked in them and the toppings were beautiful. The chocolate milkshake was rich and creamy and highly recommended too!

We live miles away but keep coming back to the area just to eat at Rooted 😆 The food is INCREDIBLE, and the staff and the vibes are fab too. Been coming here for 8 years and the quality has been consistently excellent.

Had the mushroom poutine and a chai with Oatly oat milk. Both were good, fries in poutine are with skin on which made it extra crispy. Staff is very friendly and the space is open yet cozy. Has a diverse breakfast and lunch menu.

lovely outdoor seating. we only had 15 mins and the person serving us gave our things in takeaway unprompted in case we didn’t have time to finish. great service. and the takeaway packaging all looked recyclable/compostsble which was great!

Lovely place and my Indian breakfast was bomb. My partner had a lamb curry but it was quite salty so we got that taken off the bill which was too sweet! Dessert and other smoothies really good too. Perfect service #Veganuary

There were 4 amazing vegan mains I could easily have chosen plus a lovely selection of vegan starters. I didn’t make it as far as desert so will need to return! There is a delicate Indian flavor to several of the dishes with fantastic use of herbs & spices.

The Best Vegan Brunch in Bath - Edit
An amazing veggie and vegan brunch spot. I have returned multiple times now. This is a great vegan food place for brunch, lunch and dinner. If love to return to try their lunch and dinner menu. I always order the vegan pancakes which are great. However, over the last year since I have been visiting I have noticed that the portions are getting a lot smaller (on all dishes) and the prices are still really high. The first time I visited the pancake stack was huge and it’s gotten so small now I don’t bother ordering them. My mum always orders the scrambled egg on toast and she comments on the portion size too! Also, this cafe is very expensive so the fact that the portions are tiny isn’t good at all. It’s a shame because I used to love this place and believed it was the best place in bath for vegan brunch. It still has the best vegan food offering in bath but beware of the high prices and tiny portions! I’ve also had the brunch which is also tiny and I always leave feeling hungry still. They also offer cakes (veggie and vegan) and these are always tasty but again, very expensive. The vibe of this cafe is great, the staff are always super friendly. Beware though that parking is a major issue around this cafe.

Lovely owners and amazing food - Edit
I’m lucky enough to have this wonderful cafe right on my doorstep, and frequently visit for a coffee or something to eat. The menu is entirely vegetarian, but everything on the menu can be made vegan with a few substitutes. Michelle and Nick are always so welcoming, and Georgina out front is super accommodating. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Loved all the food we had here for my birthday, we shared each plate so no one missed out and all happy with the choices. Lots of options for all vegetarians and easy to select vegan as needed, with super friendly staff. Even friends that prefer meat based meals loved it and will be returning when we next visit Bath. Lots of parking nearby too on side roads and great for meals or just a drink.

I wish I could give more stars! I loved everything about this place-the friendly, professional service and the incredible food. Such a great range of vegan options-we had the roast and the pie and both were delicious. Followed by a decadent banoffee pie and good coffee.
