Extravagant but expensive - Edit
Very much enjoyed the ethos of putting the veg at the heart of the meal. The carrots with whipped tofu were wonderful, as was the cauliflower bhaji. However, the small plates were very expensive and whilst possible to veganise, most options contained dairy.

Just got back from eating a gorgeous meal there. The food was exquisite! Served as a tapas, every dish was super tasty.

My favourite restaurant in Wells! - Edit
I’m always blown away when I come here (and I’ve been over 10 times!). There is meat on the menu, but everything else is either vegan or can be veganised. Really friendly staff and lovely vibe. Wells is very lucky to have Root here.
