Delicious Burgers - Edit
Forgot to review this place when I went last week. This is the first vegan restaurant that I've seen that gives you the option of Beyond or Impossible patty. We ordered from the drive-thru. They took an exceptionally long time making the food, but the result was worth it. My wife got the All American and I got the BBQ Bacon. Both were delicious with nicely cooked patties and melted cheese, although the BBQ Bacon only came with a tiny piece of vegan bacon. The strawberry shake I got was solid, although I couldn't identify what the plant-based milk that was used. The tots were filled with oil as if they took them right out of the fryer without letting them drip out.

All vegan! - Edit
Was really excited when someone posted about this on a FB group cuz I planned to travel here from PA to visit my aunt this weekend. The place is really cute, I like the logos. I got the double Romeo burger. It's a fast food style burger. Also got the buffalo chicken burger. Wasn't really spicy but still good. The chicken patty was very thick. I didn't care for the milkshake (coconut milk, I believe. That's my least favorite milk as a substitute) but overall, it was great to have an all vegan fast food spot. And the prices are not ridiculous, it's pretty much the same price people pay at regular fast food spots (minus the value menu stuff)

Food was good we had the chickn burger and the double mack burger with fries. We really enjoyed it. We also ordered the vanilla shake and strawberry shake, they were really sweet and the consistency was really off, it was kind of slimy. Next time we will definitely order the tea. Overall it was a good experience.

Delicious all vegan fast food joint - Edit
Had the chikn burger and it gave me flashbacks of my pre vegan days when i was younger. It tasted just like a chicken sandwich from Church's but without the animal murder and cruelty.

I was so pleased to find this fully vegan burger place! We tried the bacon bbq and the where art thou Romeo. The house sauce and ranch are good. We didn't get to try the shakes but I heard they're good.

Read moreWe ordered a Tabasco burger and big Mac burger combo, the fries are 5/5 but the burgers leave alot to be desired. The patty was over thawed and had the texture of a sloppy Joe as a result of it, not enjoyable to eat, unless you want a sloppy Joe I guess.

Went on with wimp since it's the most talked about place. And I was super shocked at the way we were treated. We were told first that we can't go and order inside it had to be at the drive thru. Get there and waited for about 5 mins for some one to address us to take our order and that's when we found out the drive thru mic is broken because my wife called to find out if they were still open. ( maybe put up a sign this way people will know move to the next window, mic is broken). Since we had them on the phone she was like can you take my order so this way we are in and out. The girl is like we don't take orders over the phone. It's 10 pm at night. It's only one person there. Are you serious??? Anyway get to the window and forget what I wanted because they don't have a menu there for you to look at to place your order. This was my first time going there. It was so unexpected and just down right an inconvenience. We waited there for 30 mins to get our food. As hungry as I was I should have just gone home and made some thing to eat. I won't be going back.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. We had the strawberry shake, Oreo shake & chili cheese fries! They were the best shakes we’ve had and I loved the flavor of the chili cheese fries plus the fries were still crispy.

Romeo’s Vegan Burgers did not disappoint! Went with a non-vegan family member who is now obsessed. According to him, it was the best burger he’s ever had and “how could anyone tell this isn’t meat?” We also got the chili cheese fries and they were unbelievable. Will be back!!!

Banging Burgers - Edit
The first day Romeo's opened their food truck, it just happened to be right in my neighborhood. Loved them from the very beginning, and I'm happy they were able to open in a permanent location. The burgers are delicious, and those chili cheese fries are the best fries in the city. Unlike most places, you can actually taste spices in the chili! It's fantastic to have such a great a vegan restaurant on this side of Charlotte.

I’ve been going to Romeos since they had their food truck and I must say being a vegan for almost 4 years they have the best vegan burgers in Charlotte. Now their milk shakes at first were not tasteful. They taste like card board. But since they opened their restaurant they’ve gotten pretty good. I am hooked on the Strawberry milk shake. I gave it 4 stars because every single time I go something is not right.
Read moreI’m not complaining because I keep going back (tehehe). The shake this time was not smooth and was more of smoothie. Like I could kind of taste ice and it took no like 15 mins to make it. Which I was just waiting and wondering why it was taking that long.
Overall my burgers are always good.
On the other hand the chilli fries they should fry the fries a little harder
But a must go if you’re ever in Charlotte
