Great vegan desserts - Edit
We visited Romeo Peluso with two vegan friends and we were mindblown by the variety of vegan options. Our favourite was the profiterol and the soymilk cappuccino was also next-level.

I stopped by Romeo Peluso in Pompeii and tried their vegan cannoli and tiramisu.
Read moreTo be honest, the flavors were just okay but since it was my first ever cannoli, maybe I’m not the best judge yet 😊
What did impress me was the variety of vegan options. You don’t expect to find so many plant-based treats right next to ancient ruins!
If you're vegan and wandering through Pompeii, it's definitely a sweet little surprise worth checking out.

Lots of amazing choices! The staff were really sweet, helpful and friendly, the place had a very real, relaxed and 'non-tourist' feel to it. The Soy cappachino was lovely and I tried the pistachio canoli, frolla, baba and sache all of which I would recommend! The frolla was definitely my favourite and the sache intense! Shame I didn't get to try everything but definitely the place to go in Pompei!

Incredible quality homemade baked goods - couldn’t fault a thing! We tried the baba (wow), canoli, tiramisu, brioche, tart, and of course espresso. friendly service and a lovely atmosphere outside watching the world go by 🥰 will always return here when in the area!

We were blown away with how many options there were! From vegan ice cream, to vegan stracciatella, cakes, cheesecake and more! We had the vegan stracciatella and raspberry ice cream cake which were both amazing. Will definitely be back this evening

This place has so many vegan dessert options. We had lunch next door and then stopped by here for dessert and an espresso. The options are creative, too. Three kinds of vegan cannoli, multiple pastries, Napoli specialties, and everything in between. The woman who helped us was also just incredibly delightful and happy, I'd buy anything from her, but it doesn't hurt that the food is delicious. Must try.

This is one of the times I wish I could give a place more than 5 stars! While not fully vegan, there are a ton of vegan options available. The vegan pastries were so incredible! I’ve tried vegan pastries in many places and these may have been the best. The owner was very friendly and kind to us while we ate our way through 7 different pastries. I cannot recommend coming here enough! It was really an amazing place.

The pastry and ice cream shop is located in the main square of Pompei, from where you can enjoy an amazing view over the cathedral.
Read moreThe staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming and we had the opportunity to chat because I kept on ordering all the delicious vegan options and ask lot of questions about them and they told me they're planning on going fully vegan in the future!
So keep on supporting them because they're great people and their products are really worth it and soon we will have a new lovely green leaf on the Happy Cow's map! 💚

Only 1 option when I went - Edit
Not sure if it was just the day or time I went but they only had one vegan option. It was this cute little cream cup though for only 1 euro and I enjoyed it!
