The food here is average for Vietnamese food. Typical of many big chains. I had a tofu Bahn Mi with a little chilli which was way too spicy. Not much flavour

Vegan Lemongrass Chilli Chicken! - Edit
Haven’t been Roll’d in a while and the Vegan Lemongrass Chilli Chicken caught my eye. It was pretty good overall, considering all the other options (or lack of options) at Sydney Domestic Terminal 2. The chicken was mildly flavoured with lemongrass and chilli, and sauce was good compliment to round it off. The accompanied salad was fresh and the rice was steaming hot. Just grateful that there was a vegan ‘chicken’ option I could have. Overall, not a bad meal and would consider grabbing it again if I was in a pinch.

Not the best bahn mi - Edit
Had much better and tastier bahn for lunch, but my hungry husband was in a rush at the airport - I guess it did the job.

A banh mi can be so much more - Edit
I've been to a few roll'ds to try the vegan lemongrass chicken. They never had it and it now seems to be taken off the menu. This leaves only the tofu option. The tofu has zero flavour. My banh mi was missing chilli and the mayo has to be removed to make it vegan. Getting a banh mi from your local Vietnamese takeaway will provide a more flavoursome, cheaper and larger banh mi.

I love that every dish has a vegan option. I tried the Bahn mi, ir was nice but had way too much raw shredded carrot for me. The bao was delicious though.
