Good rice and curry - Edit
With ocean views and breezes, this place makes a nice place to stop and wait for your meal to be prepared. The curries were good, but a little on the safe spice level for my liking. Although I put this down to the fact that another table had ordered the same just before me with the “not spicy” line, so I guess I jest ended up with their version.

I was staying 2 minutes away from here (highly recommend Mountain Seaview Cabanas!!) and this ended up being my favourite breakfast & lunch spot.
Read moreIt’s a cute family run restaurant like seemingly there are many others but this one was perfect for me. It’s located at a quiet but not yet isolated part of the beach with simple but clean and comfy seating. The family is so kind and very accommodating to vegans. The Sri Lankan breakfast (without egg hoppers) is amazing, and all their veganized dishes I’ve tried were well seasoned without being overly salty and very satisfying. The service is great and especially the young daughter is the sweetest.
This place is not on google maps but you can find it right next to Hiru Seaview restaurant. They have a swing in front of the sea, I’ve seen plenty of people take pictures there but I would really recommend enjoying a meal here too!😄
