Fully vegan as of June 2019. This busy Glens Falls lunch spot is an offshoot of Rock Hill Bakehouse. Serving lunch and dinner daily. Dine-in, take-out or delivery. Menu incudes soups, sandwiches, salads, pakora, dahl, pasta, pizza. Has house-made cheese & burgers. Coffee, tea & espresso drinks with oat or almond milk and house-made pastries including croissants, pain au chocolat, cookies, scones, biscotti, brownies, cinnamon and sticky buns. Many gluten-free options available. Relocated from 19 Exchange St. Open Tue-Thu 9:00am-7:00pm, Fri 9:00am-9:00pm, Sat 9:00am-7:00pm. Closed Sun. Kitchen open 11-7 pm.

Cookie Dough!!

There are a lot of reasons to go to this restaurant but really only one that matters. First, the "normal" reasons.... The food is amazing - and includes some really creative dishes; you can watch the bakery staff make bread while you eat; they pay their staff living wages; and they give leftover bread away for free to the community.

But the only reason that really matters is that when you order an entree one of the choices for side dishes is cookie dough! How often do you get to eat cookie dough as a side to anything? And yes, it was fantastic cookie dough :)

Pros: Cookie dough!, Really creative sandwiches, Fresh, homemade bread

Cons: Not really any - limited hours for breakfast maybe

Amazing sandwiches and pastries

Outstanding lunch today! Started with a coffee, two scones and a cinnamon bun. All very good. I’m a bit of a scone snob and thought these were some of the best I’ve ever had! The sandwiches were also incredible, with the highlights being the breads and seitan bakon. The family favorite was the Game Changer, though we also enjoyed the Granny Smith and Grown Up Grilled!

Pros: Great breads, Great space, Fairly priced and easy parking

My potato dreams came true

Potato on pizza?! Yes please. This pizza was amazing! I've been excited for my visit to town so I could try Rock Hill. The cheese they use is great, I usually avoid cheese on pizza but I went for it and this was amazing. Super friendly staff, great food, go here, now!

Amazing Vegan Food!

I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered and I’ve pretty much tried everything. Some of my favorites are the Reuben, bison burger, curried chicken pizza and the wings. Everything is vegan and their cookies are really good too. Amazing staff that does a lot for the community.

Definitely worth the visit

Some of the best vegan food I've had! Not high end cuisine. Every sandwich I've had is delicious. The pizzas are so darn good! And great coffee!

Great food -covid friendly

Curbside only. Call in order and they drop on a contactless table.
Community bread-amyone can take fresh baked bread from the rack. Free to those in need or pay/donate in the cash box.
Sandwiches come with a generous sized bag of kettle chips and a natural can of soda.

Amazing find in upstate!

Was on a weekend trip to lake George and ate here twice! So happy I was able to try this place. I got pizza, sandwhiches, and some Sweet treats. The cinnamon roll comes frozen so you kind of need an oven or microwave to have it. Our hotel was Nice enough to let us borrow the kitchen microwave but just be aware of this! Will be the first stop I make when I come back to lake George next summer!

Pros: Such friendly staff! , Great food and a wide menu

I Love Rockhill Bakery

During my 5 day visit to ADK i ate here three times. I loved everything i had. The tofu breakfast bowl on Sunday while listing to the piano playing was fantastic and a nice surprise. I tried 4 different pizzas. They were all fantastic. My favorite was the tomato and my husband loved the buffalo. The bison sandwich was super yummy and the cookies are delicious. Food is made with love..

Rock Hill is now all vegan!

I’ve loved Rock Hill for years, but now that the entire business is vegan I love it even more! The chocolate chip cookies are my fave. All of the breads are out of this world. So stoked to try the new cafe menu!

Cozy, humble, and homey

What a great little spot! Everyone working here was so nice and the food reminded me of my Moms cooking, very healthy, hearty and delicious!! Well worth the detour if you’re passing by like we did!!

Owner is Vegan!

A local spot that perfectly describes Glens Falls. Soup is delicious, however I am gluten free so I cannot comment of vegan whim sandwiches. They sound delicious though!

Killer Lunch

If you like bread, you'll love Rockhill. They usually offer 2 or more vegan and gluten free soup options. And they always have a 'vegan whim' sandwich, which can be anything from buffalo seitan to a vegan BLT. Ask about vegan options on the menu, there are more than meets the eye.

Pros: homemade bread, affordable , homey

Cons: Very Few gluten free options, no gluten free bread

Amazing breads make awesome sandwiches.

Great sandwiches and really good soups. Well worth visiting and they are clear about what is vegan and what can be veganized.

Favorite Place in Town

Delicious vegan soup and sandwiches, very comforting food in my opinion. The staff is always friendly and well educated on their menu. It is lighter fair, so it makes for good lunch food but there have been a few times I left feeling hungry still. I believe they get their seitan from one of my favorite places in Albany ( Berben&Wolff's ) so if you like their food I would recommend this place!

Pros: food is clearly marked vegan, friendly staff , nice atmosphere

Cons: can get noisey

Lake George/Glens Falls

Great vegan options if you're visiting Lake George or live locally. Always have vegan sandwiches and soups. Very satisfying. I visit weekly!
