Muy rico y muy abundante

Un ambiente acogedor, fueron amables y la comida me gustó mucho. Es menú sorpresa! No puedes escoger, llegas y lo que haya preparado. Yo quedé muy satisfecho.

Favorite place in osaka

Super refined cuisine, lots of flavours, subtile and always changing. I loved every single bite of my food, (even ordered a meal twice, im a big eater 😅), the place is elegant and you can hear nice classical music to keep your mind at ease while enjoying a culinary master piece. The owners are extremely welcoming and kind. I hope i get the chance to go there again.

Wow!

We never would have found this amazing place without happycow! It's indeed a hidden gem in the outskirts of Osaka. We came quite early around 5.30pm when it just opened and we're treated super kindly, getting a lot of free tea and a meal menu that was so delicious! The atmosphere in this place is already worth visiting!

Comida honesta e com classe

Restaurante muito bonito com ambiente calmo. Apenas um prato do dia a um preço honesto. Comida muito bem confeccionada e com delicadeza na apresentação. O restaurante fica longe das atrações turísticas mas vale apena o desvio. Sem filas. Sem espera. Incrível

Absolutely delicious

The menu was so good and the people so nice. We could ask them anything about the amazing and partly for us unknown incredients and they did not just explain them but showed us without asking where to buy it. So lovely!

Delicious traditional meal (Cash only!)

Very nice dinner spot. Had a set menu when we went for 1300 yen. One of the best meals we've had in Japan so far. Worth it!!

Awesome vegan Japanese

This restaurant was a quaint little place near Osaka. The owners were very friendly and polite
There is one option on the menu daily and it’s a great selection of Japanese vegan food. Everything was fresh with amazing flavours

They moved to Tanabe from Hogobashi

They moved to a new location at the south of Tennoji in mid July 2022. Their food remains the same as previous location- all vegetables and brown rice which is very healthy. They have more drink options than the previous shop.

The new address is:
Higashi Sumiyoshi Tanabe 3-26-5

The closest stations are Tanabe or Minami-Tanabe.
It’s a bit less than 10min walk from the station, but definitely worth visiting!

Pros: Vegetarian , Brown rice , Many dishes

Cons: A bit far from the station , One meal per day

Lovely Experience

Experience food

Entirely vegan, which is great. It offers one set meal a day for 1000JPY. That meal is made up of different smaller dishes. You can really taste that it is all naturally grown, organic. Spices are used very little as well. If you're into an experience of fresh food, with the chef just nearby this might be perfect for you. Almost reminded me of fine dining.
For me personally, not my cup of tea, but I understand why people come here often.
I would still recommend it just for the sake of having an actual Japanese Restaurants experience.

I loved the food and was surprised completely. Sat down and within ten minutes had the most beautiful food presented to me. In a wonderful restaurant which is calm and relaxing highly recommended!

Cheap set meal

A set meal is only 1000 yen and comes with a bunch of different foods in it that I had never tried before! Interesting flavors! The tofu was AMAZING, I wish there was more of it!

Amazing!

Very delicious traditional Japanese style food. The chef was very friendly, the food was incredible and the restaurant was beautiful and had a calm atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend

Lovely restaurant with one set vegan menu. They specialise in organic food and state all of their produce is grown on land that has not used pesticides for at least 20 years. We seemed to be the only foreigners in the restaurant, but there was enough communication for us to understand. My omnivore partner liked it very much too.

Hands down the best vegan cafe in Osaka

A regular lunch haunt when I was working round the corner. ¥1000 set menu for lunch. Different dishes every day, but always high quality washoku. If you’re vegan, visiting Japan and want an authentic Japanese dining experience without the stress on language barriers this place is a must.

Pros: Consistently great Japanese vegan food , Cheap, Standardised menu meaning everybody gets the same

Cons: Absolutely nothing

WOOOW !!!!!!

The best Japanese restaurant I had ! Great atmosphere and the food is just amazing and artistic ! Great quality too and very cheap (1000¥). I really really recommend this authentic place (total opposite to these "western vegan restaurants" far from the Japanese style). Wonderful !
