I was so happy to see 2 vegan choices of traybake- and one was a peppermint slice which was delicious! I ordered the soup and sandwich combo, vegan cheese and chutney. Lovely and staff were friendly too. Really a nice touch that my food had a 100% vegan sticker on it ☺️

The best, if not only place on the islands with good and plentiful vegan food. The staff are lovely and cater to many dietary requirements not just vegan. The burger is absolutely BANGING as is the lentil soup! Don't miss out on the vegan Naomi slices either... if I've not had them all that is.

Cosy cafe with great vegan options in Orkney - Edit
We were looking for a cafe to have some coffee to spend a few hours before our ferry from St Margaret’s Hope in Orkney and came across this cafe as it was open. We were surprised by the amount of vegan options available. There is oat, soy, or almond milk available, and a peppermint slice which is noted as vegan and gluten-free.
Read moreWe then looked at the menu (pictures attached) and noted there was a vegan soup, burger, curry, pizza, and lasagne; as well as vegan dessert options like a brownie and warm toffee apple walnut pudding. There are also clear allergens marked for each dish.

A range of vegan options including lasagnes, burger, pizza. Desserts also available. Prices are reasonable and portions good.

Fabulous family run restaurant coffee house open Thursday to Monday - loads choices including gluten free . Ate here 3 days . Generous homemade portions with weekly specials . Excellent ambiance and friendly staff make it a delight
