Delicious!

Found this place on HappyCow. It’s not far from Riverwalk. The food was delicious. Definitely not healthy, but worth the splurge! We had the “shrimp” po’ boy and the Fried “seafood” platter. Holy moly it was good!

Disappointing

This is a great location and I wish that they stayed vegan and that the food was better. It is troubling that they continued to have "vegan" in the restaurant's name after adding meat to the menu. It felt misleading.

The servers are nice and the drinks are good, but the food is heavy and greasy for my taste. I don't mind high prices for quality upscale dining but the amount they charge for a veggie burger or a pizza is overboard. It is a comfort food menu at high end prices.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, helpful staff , Good drinks

Cons: Heavy and oily food, Meat on the menu, Very high prices

Beautiful restaurant

This restaurant is beautiful, amazing ambience, and extremely friendly staff definitely make this restaurant feel like "fine dining". We got the Mac and cheese and blt. Both were great. This is really a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. A great place to go on special occasion when with both vegan or nonvegan friends and family.

Pros: Wonderful atmosphere, Very tasty, Very well labelled what is and isn't vegan

Cons: Expensive, Not completely vegan anymore

Vegan palace and TLC by the River

Really a delight visiting this wonderful historic home in Las Olas. The staff is really kind, excellent and offers suggestions on the menu and also helped me charge my iPhone and gave me a tour of the restaurant.

The extension is under renovation, will reopen soon and is open for special events including one on St. Patrick’s Day 2021.

The prices are slightly upscale but really worth it and a great value to support this great restaurant and staff.
I had the zesty and flavorful “Not your grandma’s Mac and Cheese” served in an au gratin bowl with sautéed vegan chicken and vegan Parmesan cheese serve with a slice of watermelon and lettuce garnish.

I also had a side salad and would like to try more menu items like the pomegranate salad.

The drink menu is really nice as well - I had the tropical beer by local brewers 5 Sons which was really refreshing to sip as you sit outdoors on the garden patio or indoors to watch the parade of yachts, riverboats and Tiki tour boats with singing and dancing rolling on the River.

I brought a to go container - the Mac and Cheese is enough to serve 2. Cheers and enjoy.

Pros: Excellent and caring staff , Beautiful historic location, Las Olas river walk , Not your grandma’s Mac and Cheese

Cons: We need one in Miami

Lovely Setting, Tasty Food, but portions are WAY Too Big

The outdoor setting is lovely and the food is tasty, but not very healthful. Lots of fried food and fake meats. This is more of a vegan restaurant for non-vegans or vegans who aren't particular about whether the food is good for them or not.

The portions were so huge that we saw a disturbing amount of food being thrown away. It seems it would be more environmentally friendly to have smaller portions and simply charge less.

You cannot get water except bottled and that was allegedly because of the Wuhan virus, but no other restaurant I've been to has done that.

That said, it's nice to have a vegan restaurant nearby; I just wish the food were a bit more healthful.

Pros: Setting, Flavor, Nice Servers

Cons: Ingredients, Wasteful portions, Forced to pay for water

Amazing vegan food & amazing service by Jason!

The Riverhouse Vegan Village is definitely a must try!!! Amazing chef-crafted vegan food, drinks made from Jason -who knows his craft and will blow your mind -also acting as GM and actually cares about guest experience. The atmosphere, all vegan food and service were amazing. Wish I lived here! They will also be doing Doordash soon.

Pros: Drinks!, Mac n cheeze with ‘shrimp’, Italian sausage pizza

Vegan Riverhouse- amazing food and location!

This was my third visit, I know they've been struggling due to some flooding a couple months ago.

There evidently has been a recent managment change and were some small glitches with the service due to that but the food was amazing as usual. They do need to provide tap water and paper menus upon request.

But few places, much less vegan places, have this kind of beautiful setting. It's also somewhere you can take non-vegans to introduce them to vegan food that tastes like it's "regular" food to them!
