I got the tofu pad Thai, and it was very good. It would be a reasonable amount of food for most people, but I could have eaten a lot more. The owner was preparing and serving all the food, and he was very nice. Apparently one of the reasons he offers vegan options is because his children are vegan, which is cool. The prices were rising, but still very reasonable. Would go again!
I really loved the owner he was very sweet, he said his children are vegan so he loves to make vegan food. I got the pad Thai and unfortunately it was very bland and soggy. It could’ve been a once time mistake because he was about to close.
I love that this is a small, family-owned restaurant. The waiter was extremely kind, and is one of the best waiters I’ve ever had! However, my food came out cold and my husband’s came out hot. We also ordered garlic green beans, which were so bad I couldn’t eat it. It looks like it was just canned beans poured onto a plate with some sauce on top. Overall, I will not eat here again. At the same time, I really appreciated their restaurant’s environment and how nice the staff were!
I had a very good tofu stir fry for only $10 a plate for just exactly the right amount of food. It wasn’t too greasy, like some stir fry can be elsewhere such as Noodle Express. The flavors were good, and it was freshly made with the kitchen in clear view, so a person can actually watch how freshly made it is. This place holds its own alongside many of the other vegan friendly restaurants in town. I will go back for an inexpensive, quick Asian stir fry meal, and you should try it too.
We were pretty disappointed in this place. The portions were tiny and the veggies weren’t fresh. Yes, there were vegan and vegetarian options but nothing was really worth what we paid. Skip this and head over to Iza.
