I had my first Ritas decades ago, up in Delaware and PA. The fruit flavored Italian ices from the east coast has slowly but surely made its way westward. Staying in Eagan, there weren't a lot of vegan options. I wanted something sweet and found this newly built establishment.
Read moreI indulged in a large watermelon mixed with juicy pear. So delicious and refreshing on those hot MN summer days! Beware, these ices are very sweet! A large was way too much for me. Next time I'll stick with the smalls.
The ices are made fresh daily and the flavors switch up, so your favorite may not always be available. They have expanded their menu to include custards, but no vegan-friendly custard options exist just yet.
