I absolutely adore olivelli. The antipasto can't be missed if you love olives!
This is the Marylebone branch at st Christopher's place and it is so pretty. Even the plates and the decorations are lovely. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in London. In summer it is particularly nice to sit outside and people watch as it's a pedestrianised Street.
Can't recommend it enough plus there's a vegan/gf menu! (Just watch out as it's vegan or gf but labelled) They also have vegan cheese for their pizzas which are divine.
Antipasto Panelle chickpea flour fritters, sun-dried tomatoes, green olives, sun-dried tomato and turmeric pesto, bruschetta paesana, grilled peppers and aubergine, artichokes, Sicilian caponata, focaccia - this is my dream dish everything tastes amazing it's for sharing but I don't share this with anyone!!
If you don't like olives at least get a side of panelle to try!
Risotto - a really hearty well cooked creamy saffron and vegan mozzarella risotto with caramelised onion. The portions are big!
Strudel - I asked for the cream on the side so I could take it away as I was really full. Then I ate it all. Such is life!!
A huge three course meal comes to about £40. In theory you share the starter though... But I didn't have breakfast or lunch so I deserved it.
Also the gf options will have cross contamination just keep that in mind.
Pros: Vegan menu, Antipasto, Outdoor seating
Cons: Must book
