Nice (light) Lunch

We visited Isola Bella in early October and were able to sit outside on the terrasse of Ristorante Elvezia.

We were very delighted that they‘re offering a vegetarian Selection on their Menu, which can be made vegan.

We ordered the Tofu Screwers on Soy Sauce with grilled Veggies and Mungbean Sprouts. Plus the Couscous-Falafels on Black Bean-Mousse.
It was very delicious and well picked.
In our opinion (and normal hunger) there could have been a bit more on the plate. Especially the Veggie part was a bit „skinny“, with just one little slice of Bell Pepper, Zucchini & one Rondelle of Aubergine/Eggplant.

The Black Bean-Mousse tasted very good and was our favourite.

To mention is aswell, that they serve good Proteinsources!
(As a counteract of the always boring and absolutely tiring, uninspired and totally uninformed Salads and Fries nearly everyone else has)

The Service was very professional and polite.

We definitely would come back.

Lovely location

We went to Isola Bella and stayed the night. Most other places close for the night, but they are open until 9 pm. they have a vegetarian section on the menu, but you need to ask for vegan options. I had the noodles made from zucchini, which were a bit boring. For desert I had the biscotto, which was fabulous. Prices are high, but normal for the area and considering it is located on an island.
