The place to be to try a variety of vegan businesses

One thing I love about the market is that there is always atleast one vegan food truck. This year there's Plant essence. Other vegan friendly vendors include Tres Marias coffee roaster (coffee ice pops), Pop City (ice pops), Snowmoon (ice-cream), Pizza Di Rocco (vegan cheese option), La Patrona (tacos), acai places and more. Some vendors also offered vegan snacks, fresh breads and fresh baked cookies.

Pros: Vegan friendly

Cons: No list of vendors, must look around

THE place for fresh fruits & vegetables in Dubai

The weekly Ripe markets are a great addition to Dubai's grocery shopping scene, which tends to be very supermarket and shopping mall heavy.
It's nice to now have real farmers' markets in the city, which sell organic produce from local farms. Prices are fair and you don't even need to bring your own bags, because they give you reusable cardboard boxes to take your veggies home.
Other than for fruits and vegetables shopping, Ripe is great to meet folks from the local community. There are loads of food stalls around the market (not all of them vegetarian or vegan, but a fair few are; there's even a coconut milk ice cream stall), plus there's an arts & crafts market attached to Ripe, too, which is fun to wander around.

Pros: Organic, Fresh, Local

Cons: Can get very busy, so come early, Some of the food stalls sell meat, Too many hipsters
