Great place to eat! - Edit
We have been to this place many times and love the food. There is a nice variety of main and side dishes and they all taste great. It is a simple setting with very nice staff.

Not Enough Stars - Edit
This very small, friendly restaurant has absurdly good food, and it happens to be vegan. If you're looking for fancy, this ain't the place. For the quality, the pricing is reasonable, the service is good, and the food is terrific. We had Calm Chowder (incredible), the "Perspective" bowl (fantastic) and a Sea Witch "tuna" sandwich (superb), followed by white chocolate "cheesecake" (knock-your-socks-off good) for an early dinner— and we'll go back again in a heartbeat the next time we're in New London.

One of the best soups I've ever had - Edit
I've been to Right Path a couple of times now - the Calm Chowder - an almond based vegan corn chowder - is amazing. The bowl is very reasonably priced and came with raw crackers as a garnish. Right Path isn't too far off 95 (4/5 minutes max.) if you're passing through the area. The current online menu (6/7/16) does mention the use of honey. However, at one point, I do seem to recall eggs either being available or an ingredient in the gluten free bagels.
Pros: Calm Chowder, Clean
Cons: Honey

Rob Rasta 11 Jul 2016 - Thank you for visiting us, we appreciate your business and feedback. We offer honey as an addition to a bagel purchase if you would like honey or with your tea. We do not use honey or animal products in any of the foods we prepare at the café which is all the soups, sauces, Sun burger, "cheezes", hummus, vegan mayo, "tuna" & "chicken" salad, desserts and our whole line of dehydrated goods.

Beacon worth fracking - Edit
While planning my trip to Groton this morning from Nashville I made it my intention to find a healthy place to eat while there on business. I used the happy cow app, read the reviews and the reviews couldn't be more spot on. Truly amazing salad (Action Salad) and a Seawich sandwich with kale chips to go. Looking forward to next trip there.

Unbelievable chef!!!! - Edit
Rob is a wizard in the kitchen! I am a reluctant vegan, embracing an all plant-based lifestyle for health reasons. Rob and his very personable staff have me convinced that this change is ABSOLUTELY something I can live with! After biting into his sunburger, I literally cried. I hadn't had meat in 2 months and could not shake the hamburger cravings...his sunburger allowed me to satisfy my cravings guilt-free. I've been back with my family 4 more times in the past month to relive my sunburger "moment" and to try his Perspective and Monk wraps. Our 13 year old daughter has fallen in love with his black bean Rhythm soup and kale chips (she takes them to school as an occasional treat).
Pros: Rob takes the time to chat with customers and get , Speak up if you have allergies! Our daughter has
Cons: Parking can be tough to find on State Street, but

Favorite Vegan Stop - Edit
Definitely one of my favorite all vegan stops. Robert is a hardworking dedicated man and his food is delicious and can certainly win you over whether you are plant-based or not! The newly added dessert menu is to die for ❤ Tons of great artwork from local artists are also displayed and changed on a monthly basis. Yummy healthy food, clean and inviting atmosphere and intriguing artwork to be seen. 5 stars hands down! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros: All vegan, worth your dollar, yummy treats

Oasis in the Desert ... - Edit
What a delight to find a true blue locally sourced organic vegan cafe; we recently moved to CT from NM and have been using our Happy Cow App. to find vegan gems on the weekends.
Comfortable atmosphere and the food was wonderfully fresh and flavoured with just the right amount of seasonings; I appreciate this, as I want to taste the natural beauty of the foods I am enjoying.
We tried the Bowls: Monk & Perspective ... each distinct and tasty in their own right. I had the Emotion Smoothie and my husband had the Radical Juice, they were both yummy. We took our time enjoying the earthly delights.
We brought a bowl of Calm Chowder home, just had it for dinner ... would love the recipe. We have raw chocolates for later :).
We will definitely be returning.
As big lovers of Turmeric we hope to see it on the juice menu in the future.

Vegan Nirvana - Edit
Having resided in this area for 28 years, I never thought I would see a vegan restaurant open in downtown old New London, but that miraculous event indeed did happen in November 2015. Has my earthly body attained Samadhi and my ethereal being ascended to Nirvana?
Food here is all vegan and mostly raw or gently dehydrated. Fortunately the words neither Vegan nor Raw appear in the cafe’s name, else its name would drive carnivores away from its doorstep. While its name Right Path subtly implies that carnivore restaurants are on the Wrong Path, a premise with which I wholeheartedly agree, feigned humility calls upon us not to call attention to that.
Its printed menu has been incrementally improving with age. Printed menus should make my dry mouth water, but this one still makes my confused head spin. The Sanskrit names of dishes such as Nirvana and Namaste that proselytize the tenets of the Dhammapada and the Upanishads would be just as uninformative if written in Hindi alphabet or in binary code. While I would feel more confident ordering an entree named Anorexia Nervosa or a smoothie named Paranoid Schizophrenia, I try to hold back my sidesplitting laughter when I order up a side of intangible Liberation or a bowl of instant Wisdom. Dishes named Buddha or Monk sound intended for cannibals. Fortunately, all the dishes both look and taste better than they sound.
Old New Londoners may find here the veganism and raw foods and Buddhist terminology hard to swallow. Fortunately the smoothies and juices can appeal to a wider clientele, so the liquid fare is sure to keep the café afloat. In addition to the five juice blends listed on the menu, juices can be customized to your whims, to which the staff is very accommodating. My favorite is the all veggie but non-carrot Radical. The wheatgrass juice is especially potent and sweet. And the 200 proof ginger juice (another of my favorites, though only for the brave!) is quite unique among juice bars.
The solid fare all is wholesome and delicious and nutritious. The anagrammatic Calm Chowder is outstanding. The housemade raw Kale chips are better than any in the marketplace, where most are Stale chips. Also, the chevre cheeze is excellent, and far better than my distant memory of cow cheese.
Despite its pretentious Buddhist outer trappings, this café harbors great potential and is a sure winner. So do embark on a pilgrimage to downtown New London, where the smoothie bliss of a cupful of Nirvana awaits you.
Pros: all vegan, mostly raw, mostly organic, for organic the prices are just right
Cons: sometimes scant parking on State St, Buddhu-Hindu hocus-pocus

Right Path for the Right Reasons - Edit
I am so grateful that my kitchen isn't the only all organic place I can eat at that's local! The Right Path Organic Cafe is the right title for this restaurant because the owner is offering us an option unique to our area, ALL Organic! Like the old adage says..."you're on the right path", is a reminder to all of us who want something that deviates from the normal Standard American Diet that is far from the organic route. Unfortunately choosing a healthier life style has left me with very little selection when wanting to eat out. Not anymore and it's in downtown New London! I love hanging out in this very diverse city that offers lots of unique cultural events and now eating is one of them. The irony is that I keep telling myself that I am on the right path even when it's difficult to stay the course with lack of options and as synchronicity would have it this restaurant opened up with that as the name...The Right Path Organic Cafe! My boyfriend who isn't vegan tried "The Monk" which had tempeh and he loved it and the Kale chips too!! He didn't leave feeling like he was missing meat. I was excited that bee pollen was available to add to my smoothie and of course the wheatgrass shots were sooo fresh! No more messy kitchen! I will be hanging out in New London a lot more now that this cafe has opened it's doors. Thank you to the owner for all your bravery and good intentions (which is a name of one of the items on the menu). I appreciate you going against the "grain" and keeping our health as your main concern.
Pros: All Organic!!, juice/smoothie menu!!, Downtown New London!!
