Small portions, odd food - Edit
We got the basil rolls, roti canai, drunken noodles with tofu, and green curry with tofu, all from their vegetarian menu. The basil rolls were supposed to have basil and mint in them but I didn’t taste any basil or mint. It was a lot of jicama, carrots, and romaine. And the portion was tiny. The menu says “6 pieces” so I thought it would be 2 rolls cut up into 3 pieces each. Most places give you 2 rolls for $8.95 but it was one roll cut into 6 bite-sized pieces, like sushi. The roti canai was also tiny. The rice that comes with the green curry was tiny - one cup. The flavor of the green curry sauce was good, but the tofu in both the drunken noodles and the green curry was just steamed/boiled. Usually it is either fried chunks of tofu or slices of tofu from a fried cutlet, so that the tofu has more flavor and a chewier texture. My daughter wouldn’t even eat her tofu in her noodles. I saw a bunch green leafy stuff in my daughter’s drunken noodles so I thought they gave her a lot of basil, which would be cool, but it turned out to be romaine lettuce. What an odd choice for drunken noodles!

Good Curry! - Edit
Ordered:
Read more•Mussaman Curry w/Mock Duck
•Tofu Vegetable Pad Thai
Total: $40.41
The curry was actually delicious however while the mock duck was good with a spoonful of curry and vegetables, whenever I ate it alone I found it to be pretty odd tasting, otherwise its a good replacement for meat and firmer than some tofu’s.
The pad thai was pretty bland, but I would say that every pad thai ive ordered from takeout (from various places)
is disappointing. I think it would probably taste better fresher, it was pretty bad especially for an expensive dish.
Obviously the place is expensive, I’ve ordered from other thai restaurants for less than $15 an entree, here it was $20 per entree. Overall I wouldn’t likely eat here again mostly because of the price.
Pros: Elegant & Attractive Dining
Cons: Expensive, Varying Quality from Dish to Dish
